Nestled between three Live Oaks, this beautiful private getaway in the Travis Heights neighborhood near South Congress and Lady Bird Lake is close to everything but secluded enough to get away from it all.

The private, stand alone apartment features hardwood floors, dual zone AC and heat and a private bedroom with a comfortable King-sized bed, walk-in closet and a well-lit bathroom with walk-in shower. A work nook in the living room includes a full-size desk and ample natural light.

Located on a quiet residential street within walking distance to Downtown, SoCo and Rainey Street. While a car isn't necessary, street parking in front is always available.

We loved are stay. Located in a great neighborhood close to plenty of shopping and places to eat. Within 10 minutes of Zilker park and UT. The host was awesome. I highly recommend this place and i will be back.

Safe and convenient stay close to SOCO and downtown Austin

We stayed here for a couple weeks during SXSW. John was super responsive and even had some welcome treats in the unit when we arrived. Very nice neighborhood and pretty quiet for the city. The bed was a bit firm for our tastes but not bad. It was veryeasy to walk to many places.

Austin Film Festival Stay

Beautiful quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to downtown Austin by bus, Uber/Lyft, or walking. We Appreciated the bottled water, coffee, and shower essentials. Found an amazing NYC eyeglass place Moscot within short walk, along with other upscale shops like Hermes. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location is excellent (approximately a 1/2 mile to South Congress) and the neighborhood is great for those that enjoy walking. The communication with the property manager was excellent! The written instructions within the apartment were very clear and concise. Overall, our experience was great! We’re looking forward to a return visit!

Great stay in Travis Heights

The apartment is above a detached garage and feels very private. The unit was extremely clean and it was easy to communicate with the owners. Its on a quiet street in Travis Heights within easy walking distance of South Congress. Having access to laundry inside the garage just below the unit is super convenient for a longer trip.

Great Location!

The unit is above a detached garage and is the perfect size for 1-2 people. Laundry is in the garage below the unit. I didnt cook anything on this trip but the kitchen seemed functional. The close proximity to south congress and downtown while feeling like you are in a quiet neighborhood is the best part.

Everything you need in a VRBO

This place had everything we were looking for in a VRBO. The location is great. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and just a 10-15 minute walk to S Congress and everything that area has to offer. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable for 2 people. The hosts were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late without issue. We already told them that we're going to stay here again the next time we come to Austin. Definitely would recommend.

Great location

We had a great stay with John in his South Congress location. It was so easy to get downtown, whether you walk it, via Lady Bird Lake walkover located right outside of his neighborhood. The apartment was very clean and ready for the unexpected cold weather that we woke up to on our first night. The bed was comfortable. We made breakfast every morning and found street parking every night we were there. The washer and dryer was the very nice to have and made our decision to stay here this trip and our next one. Probably my favorite VRBO!! Owners were always available by text. Bright, airy, comfortable, all the conveniences you could ask for! They even had coffee and Splenda!! Very close to South Congress Street and all the dining and shopping options one could ever ask for. Definitely recommend !!! I would give 100 stars if I could!!

A great rental with a SOCO vibe!

Discovered the meaning of SOCO (South Congress) staying in this terrific cozy rental. Met all our needs, including walking up and down steps to this garage apt. entrance. Great for exercise! The owners were super, John taking time to greet us on the first day from his semi-detached house front lawn.Located in a lovely, quiet historic neighborhood, a very short drive to bustling S. Congress. All our drives in the city were 15-20 min… to the museums, Capital bldg, restaurants. Not caught in any traffic gridlock from this location. Highly recommend unless you have difficult climbing a climbing a flight of stairs.
