This was a really charming place! Loved the character of the house. Old and historical. As a keys player, the piano was a lovely touch.All in all, a solid stay. Our only downsides were low water pressure and the kitchen/dining room gets way cooler than the living room on the other side of the stairwell. Old houses can be strange! Beds were comfy. Big open kitchen and massive dining room table were good. The pool area is gorgeous. Great location.

Bachelorette Bash

So spacious with multiple areas for our large group to hang out and also spread out when needed. Clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The pool/BBQ area was fun and adorable! Good air conditioning. Very few responsibilities when checking out. Responsive hosts when needed. Very minor concerns: Low water pressure. No early check-ins or check outs, which is difficult when traveling from out of state and not having vehicles to hold our bags (not their fault, but be sure to plan accordingly).

Austin Retreat

The house was magnificent! The pool was so nice to have to relax in after a day of shopping downtown. The location is perfect and not far from the airport!

Graduation Family Stay

This place was amazing! Not only historical but gave such an Austin vibe! The layout is great with 3 “dens” that had tvs and places for guest to unwind and not on top of each other. We had a large group and everyone had a room and our single teenage/young adults niece and nephews bunked in the rooms with two beds. Spacious bathrooms for several to get ready in at same time. 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs. We used Feti vans to pickup and drop off getting around the city. Very close to campus maybe 3 min drive. Beautiful views of downtown sitting out by poop. Catered tacos from Cabo Bobs and set up outside around the pool. Kitchen is small but functional. Served breakfast for 14 and had all the things needed to cook. Would recommend for gatherings or family needing to be close to campus or downtown.

Perfect girls weekend!

We had so much hanging out by the pool! The house was perfect for a large group, there was lots of living rooms and fridges! One of our toilets wasn’t working, I texted the team and they had someone over to fix it within the hour! Very impressed with the service. The house is on a very busy street so it is loud outside, make sure to bring your own speaker for outside by the pool. Also if you are ordering food delivery or Ubers make sure to specify it is the house with the neon b&b sign since the hotel next door has the exact same address. I would absolutely stay here again. We had so much space and it was an easy walk to cool restaurants and shops!

Austin Adventure

Our group of book club buddies enjoyed our visit to Austin and the Governor's mansion was a great location for our stay, spacious and comfortable. It was a great place to gather and enjoy each other's company. Our one issue was the low water pressure in the upstairs bathrooms. Overall we had a wonderful visit.

Great house, but so many issues

The house was great but so many of the appliances and bathroom facilities were broken. We went in the beginning of September and the ac wasn’t working to standard. The rooms got up to 80 degrees at night making it miserable to sleep in. 3 toilets were broken, a shower was broken, a sink’s cold water didn’t work at all. The wifi was horrible and did not work even if you were next to the router. The house manager said they would compensate me in some way for the issues but I haven’t heard anything.

Overall a nice joint

We had no problem checking in and the location was great! Beautiful home but definitely had its quirks. We had a few issues with the refrigerator and pool was a little dirty from a storm. Once I contacted the rental company they were more than happy to work things out for us. Overall we were thankful for such a big house with a lot of space in a great location!

Solid

Solid overall rental in a great location in Austin. There were many cockroaches, broken toilets/showers, and zero water pressure, and overall the place was a bit run down. But overall the listing was solid and the RentersClub was great to work with.

Beautiful home for a large group

Overall I had a very positive experience at this property. The home is large and has such great character - the design touches around the house were beautiful and unique. The property manager was also very responsive to any issues and questions I had (receiving/disposing of items from the house, etc), and overall I really appreciated her responsiveness! The only things I would flag for future guests are that you might come across cockroaches (though I understand the home is regularly treated), and that there were several cameras inside and outside of the house. We still very much enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend this propery for large groups looking to stay in a beautiful area of town!

Pretty Amazing Property

The host company made the process a breeze. The house was absolutely massive with almost too much room. Parking for 4 cars, massive pool, nice vibe all around No issues to complain about aside from having zero water pressure upstairs. I’m sure it’s already fixed by management.

Great spot

Really nice place to stay. Everything was nice and convenient. The home is on a busier road which was my only complaint. Not a huge deal but made it hard to get in and out of the home. Made for some white noise at night while sleeping. We would book this again.

Great house but….

Perfect house for a large group of people. The pool was dirty, toilets did not flush when we arrived. There was no hot water which didn’t seem like it would be a problem cos the weather was so warm but when you want to clean dishes or when you come back from lake you definitely need a hot shower. The location seemed safe but the gate would not lock, no big deal but wasn’t the safest. Overall for the price we paid for house was not worth it at all.

Big house with a great pool!

Our group of 11 recently stayed here and we really enjoyed the house. It was so spacious and decorated so fun! We loved having the pool and being able to cool off after being out and about in the Austin heat. I would stay here again. My only comment is that the water pressure in the upstairs showers was a little underwhelming, but they just came downstairs and used the other showers instead. No biggie!

Great property/tough communication

A really cool property. Plenty big enough for a large group, and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately two of the five showers in the house were not operable during our stay, and the associated communication from the management group was really limited and frustrating. I do appreciate the fact that they sought to make that right in terms of the inconvenience, and hope they're able to improve their timeliness and communication with future renters.

Perfect home and location for our group all visiting austin the first time. Convenient location to downtown Rainey and 6th street areas. Easy ride to lake Travis. Our property manager Deanna was very responsive and helpful.

Review

The property was great- it was a great location, close to downtown, tons of space. The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive; however, there was a roach problem at the house. We found several roaches over the course of the weekend. The house also could have used a deeper cleaning prior to our arrival- there were stains on the walls, and felt a little dingy.
