Host returned valuable jewelry and search for me to return it!
I'm not usually one to leave a review, but Carlos really went above and beyond to return lost valuables to me.
During my stay I had lost an expensive (and sentimental) ring. I assumed I had lost it while out in Austin because I searched everywhere in the house. I gave up and chalked it up as lost.
Nearly 10 months after my stay, Carlos called me to let me know he had found a ring he thought belonged to me. The ring only had my last name inscribed on the inside, so he went above and beyond to find my contact information. He even mailed it to me at zero cost!
I'm in disbelief that the ring was returned to me as it could have easily been pawned for a considerable amount of cash.
The property itself was great and comfortably slept our entire group. It's within a quick uber to anywhere within Austin, and I will certainly be staying here again when I return.
