Bypass the traffic and stroll right up to the Augusta National! This beautiful brick ranch in Berckman Hills is less than 1 mile from the South Gate and a short drive to Augusta's best shopping and restaurants at Surrey Center.

This home is a single level with hard wood floors throughout. Master bedroom has queen bed and private bath, guest rooms have queen beds and Jack N Jill bathroom plus another full bathroom in hall.

Also includes two living rooms, each with 50" flat screen TV (streaming services with Golf Channel included so won’t miss a single stroke). If you like to cook and entertain, you’ll love the the dining room (seats 6), breakfast table (seats 4), spacious patio, charcoal grill, and private back yard.

Access is a breeze with keyless entry front door code and large driveway that can accommodate up to 6 vehicles.

What's nearby

  • Home of Freeman Walker, outstanding citizen of early Georgia. Born in Virginia in 1780, he came to Richmond County in his youth and studied law. Freeman Walker, in 1826, deeded 70 acres of land to the United States Government to be used as an arsenal-the site now of the Junior College of Augusta. He reserved one acre as a family burial ground, known as the Walker Cemetery. He was the father of Maj. Gen. W. H. T. Walker, CSA. Admitted to the bar in 1802, he followed a life of public service; City Attorney for three years and Mayor of Augusta 1817-19, being the first to hold the city´s chief executive office under the name of Mayor, and Brigade Inspector of Gen. Valentine Walker´s brigade in 1813. He represented Richmond County in both branches of the State Legislature and represented Georgia in the U. S. Senate. His speech on the Missouri Compromise attracted nation-wide attention. He died in 1827 and is buried in the Walker Cemetery.

Masters week

Great location. Could walk to the South Gate if you wanted. Better to just take your car for the free parking. Still appreciated short drive and no traffic coming from the south. Wonderful home, very comfortable. Very responsive hosts. Would recommend to anyone. Cheers.
