Not a tourist area it seems but met all my expectations for a reasonable price...a taste of an older simpler Italy

In general, this place was fine fir resting my head at night. The Expedia confirmation said check in could start at 11, but they were not ready for me for at least another hour. It is advertised as a bed and breakfast, but it definitely does not offer breakfast. The room could be noisy if the window is open and there are people on the patio.

great as base camp

The place is brand new and modern styled. The owner does not stay on property but communication with him was excellent. The only down thing is that Augusta has nothing to offer for a tourist....so its great as a base stay if you have a car and can travel around as it is in the middle of the coastline between Messina and Siracusa
