The storage heaters made the cottage just comfortable, without being 'too hot.' There are some lovely walks around the village and a local shop for any groceries required. The host provides excellent communication regarding booking, key access, the cottage itself and answered any queries within mins. For us, this cottage was a special find and we hope...

The apartment was warm, comfortable; the shower piping hot and the wifi signal strong. Plenty of parking space and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Communication excellent and responsive throughout. Highly recommended."

"Very friendly owner greeted us on our arrival and showed us to our room. The space was roomy, well organized, and quiet. The common areas were very pretty and welcoming. We had to catch an early ferry and the owner made every effort to ensure that we had a good breakfast before we left. I would recommend this hotel."

"Located well off the beaten path, this quaint B&B provides a cultural experience. The owners are very friendly and willing to share their wealth of knowledge about the area. The facility itself is clean and inviting. Breakfast is made to order by the couple who owns the place. For people who only have experience with hotels or Air B&Bs, this place will be eye-opening as it is run how traditional B&Bs were done fifty years ago. A lovely experience overall!"

"A good, well-run hotel. No criticisms. Also, we had a slight problem with a noisy resident in the next room to us. I contacted the night porter who quickly sorted things out, calmly, politely and effectively. The restaurant is exceptionally good - way above the general standard of freezer to microwave meals you encounter so often."
