  • Tuskegee University, one of the largest historically black universities in the United States, is a private university located in Tuskegee, Alabama. Awesome Stay!

The house was clean and comfortable! The hosts were super friendly and cery accessible if we needed anything. This is a great location in the cove to get away from the busy lake traffic. Kids can thoroughly enjoy the sand beach with both shallow and deeper water options. We were able to easily dock our pontoon boat as well. We woukd certainly stay here again!

Perfect home & setting in beautiful Lake Martin!

My husband, daughter and all of our parents stayed in this wonderful home for AU graduation weekend! We all loved it! The house is super clean, spacious, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautiful view of the lake. We had never been to Lake Martin and it did not disappoint! The home's host, Marian, was the BEST to work with, couldn't have been nicer. The drive is easy to Auburn University, about a 35-40 minute drive. My favorite part of the home was the family room with the tall ceiling and all of the windows looking out to the lake. I highly recommend this wonderful home!!!

Great stay, great location. We spent time at the small beach and on the dock taking and enjoying the weather. Excellent spot for the family, and other houses close by for friends. Excellent communication with the owners and much joy for the weekend.

Wonderful place for a family to stay. We had everything we needed for our vacation. Plenty of lake toys for the kids and adults too. Beautiful setting, very peaceful yet convenient to local stores. Our host was amazing and readily available if needed. 10/10 !!

Perfect Hidden Gem

What a great spot! Traveling with kiddos aged 4, 10 & 11 the beach area was an early morning savior! Super easy and a perfect, quick, fun spot. The house had tons of room and everyone enjoyed their stay. Hosts were super nice, easy to talk to & gave great recommendations. We will definitely look to come back soon!

2024 Auburn Graduation Weekend

We were very pleased with our accommodations. It made for a very memorable family weekend for my son’s graduation from Auburn. Marian was a wonderful host and was there to meet our every need. The use of her golf cart to help my elderly parents be able to go to the lake and back was a true blessing. Highly recommend for family getaway.

A Wonderful Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the property managed by Brad and Marian. The house was spotless and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our kids had a great time exploring the area and taking advantage of all the activities available. The beach area was especially fun for my 3-year-old niece. Brad and Marian went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, even taking us out on their boat to watch the sunset. It was an amazing experience, and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful spot for family reunion!

This property was a part of a larger community with 4 houses. Our family rented the two larger homes. We had family come in from 9 different states! We took advantage of the pontoon rental, the grills, the corn hike, the canoes and kayaks, and pavilion down on the lake. It was a perfect set up for a perfect weekend. Owner is very accessible. Do not hesitate to reach out if something is wrong or missing. We plan to return every other year and this will be our choice!

Highly recommend!

From the time we arrived until the time we checked out, the owner was very helpful! Her and her husband are very nice people and make sure you and your family are taken care of. My son was pulling his kayak down to the water by himself and she asked him if he needed help, and she brought it down to meet me for him! We will be back and when we do, this will be where we will always go to! Their property is also in the most convenient and kid friendly area.

Family Vacation

We rented 3 of the 4 properties and they were all very lovely. The properties were clean, spacious, well equipped, and well maintained. There were 30+ people in the 3 houses and everyone had very nice things to say about the properties. Would recommend to anyone with a large group lioking to be together but not all under one roof.

Lake Vacay with friends

Checkin process was very convenient. The house was spacious and kid friendly. Close to gas stations and little markets. Owners were very nice and went out of their way to take care of any issues we had. The sheets on the beds were really soft and so were the beds which is a plus for me. Very nice atmosphere to just hang out and relax. I don’t think we could have gotten anyone more friendly than Marian and Brad. We will definitely return.

Great Family Trip

Upon arrival our lovely host was there to meet us. She made sure we everything we needed. She gave us directions to various spots. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a fun family experience. There was a boat there we could rent for a fee but opted for a driver and toured the lovely homes on the lake. We will be back.

Return of GWE

For the return of our Girls Weekend, we truly enjoyed the "Lake Life." Close proximity but we felt miles away. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and we are planning to return for more relaxation and fun in the future. Working with Brad and Marian was awesome. They are quick to respond for sure.
