The perfect stay for a solo traveler or couple who have lots to do and just need a place to rest. The Wi-Fi worked great to watch a movie at the end of the day. I felt cozy and safe. The place was very clean and check out process was easy.

This converted shipping container was perfect for our 3 night stay. Excellent use of space complete with all the comforts of home. Great for 1-2 people. Very clean. Comfy bed. Creative use of space. Well equipped. Did not realize I had a BBQ grill waiting or I would have picked up some fresh salmon/whitefish from the fish market on the hill! TV/wireless worked perfect. Would highly recommend for 1-2 night stays.

Amazing find!

This was a great find! Very clean and an overall fun place to stay. The host was extremely responsive and kind. There were no surprises on our arrival. Do not be afraid of the size of the conex box or location. It is nestled just a few short miles from town and the noise. The surroundings are beautiful and attention to detail in and out we found to be outstanding! Great job to the hosts! We will be spreading the word to all those we know who plan to stay in Houghton. Wishing we could have packed up the box and taken it with us on our travels across Michigan’s finest in the UP. Cheers!

Started the reservation with great communication from owner and had to make changes to dates a few times and he was very accommodating. Over all the place was exactly as desribed and worked perfectly for quick access to snowmobile trails. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again in the future.
