From your suite, enjoy an ocean view while soaking in the tranquility of your Ocean View Escape.

— Your second-floor room is on the side of the building, on the corner of the building, conveniently located near the stairs.

From the wraparound shared deck, you have an expansive ocean view where you can regularly see dolphins swimming by. On a clear day, you can see Shackleford Island where the descendants of the wild Spanish mustangs roam and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse off in the distance.

OCEANSIDE AMENITIES
Your Atlantic Beach ocean view suite is located in an oceanfront condominium community with over 600 ft of direct oceanfront shoreline. There are two direct, private beach access pathways, each with its own covered gazebo with seating, and a saltwater pool alongside the dunes.

All amenities are private to the community. Get cozy in the oceanfront seating on the shared wraparound deck, enjoy the ocean breeze in the gazebo atop the dunes, grill out and relax at the picnic tables, enjoy the outdoor pool, or walk to the beach that is just steps away.

POOL
— Ocean Sands offers guests a saltwater pool right at the dunes! Hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze while you relax by the pool. Our pool offers sun loungers, tables, and chairs. We do not have pool umbrellas as strong wind gusts have damaged them in the past. Shade is limited; although, later in the afternoon, you will receive shade cast from the sun shadow of the pool house building.
— The pool is typically open from mid-April through early October. As with all of the pools in the area, we are at the mercy of the town’s schedule as they inspect each and every pool for a safe opening. Because of this, we cannot guarantee the exact date of the pool opening each year as it is contingent on the town’s inspection schedule.

BICYCLES
— The bicycle rack is located in the middle of our community between the pool and the nearest residential building. Some guests also choose to store their bicycles at/underneath the nearest stairs at their own building. If you'd like to rent bikes, Beachside Bikes in Atlantic Beach rents bikes (and boats!).

FISHING
— Surf fishing is allowed. In addition to surf fishing here at our private beach access, guests have success fishing from the shore at the inlet and at the rock jetty at Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach, the Oceanana Pier in Atlantic Beach, and the Bogue Inlet Pier in Emerald Isle. Note: The small pier within walking distance to Ocean Sands is a pedestrian pier, not a fishing pier.
— Ocean Sands offers guests a fish cleaning station at the far corner of the property in the dunes. There is a sign and a boardwalk leading you up to the area, and there is running water.
— Fishing licenses can be purchased at a local bait and tackle shop like Chaisin’ Tails in Atlantic Beach.

— Atlantic Beach is located on a southward-facing island which, depending on the time of year, gives you the opportunity to see the sunrise and sunset over the ocean!

NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION
You can walk down the beach to the nearby public pedestrian pier and grab a bite to eat oceanfront on the pier at Molly's Beachside Bar & Grill. You can also walk across the street to Dairy Queen, Beach Burgers, On the Rocks Restaurant and Bar, The Wheelhouse Taproom, and Kitty Hawk Kites Gift Shop.

Food Lion grocery store is 1 mile down the road, and you can walk to the Dollar General and a convenience store.

Within a 5 min drive is the NC Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, Atlantic Beach Town Park, Idle Hour Biergarten, Amos Mosquitos Restaurant, Oceanana Fishing Pier and Pier House Restaurant, and the Atlantic Beach Circle and all of the surf shops and restaurants.

PET POLICY
It is our pleasure to welcome your furry friend to the beach.

— $125 pet fee
— Dogs ONLY (no cats)
— 1 dog max, under 50 lbs.
— Non-aggressive breeds only (Pit Bull, Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd breeds are not allowed)
— Pets must be current on vaccines and flea meds.
— NO PETS ALLOWED ON FURNITURE!!
— Pets cannot be left unsupervised and MUST BE CRATED when the pet owner is not inside the condo.
— Pets must be leashed at all times when outside.
— NO pets allowed inside the fenced-in pool area.
— Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Place all pet waste bags in the trash cans outside.
— Guests will be held accountable for their pet, and any DAMAGES or EXCESSIVE CLEANING will be charged to the guest.
— **Do NOT arrive without paying the pet fee. If you include your pet in your reservation, then the pet fee will be automatically included in your booking total, and you are good to go. If not, no worries. Just let me know, and I can send you the pet fee request after booking.

NUMBER OF GUESTS
— The suite can comfortably accommodate 3 guests with a 4 guest max.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
— You must be 22 years of age to book.

PARKING PASS
— Each reservation is given ONE parking pass.
— For nightly reservations, an additional pass is available for $35 per reservation for a max of two parking passes total. For monthly reservations, an additional pass is available for $100.
— Per the HOA, boat trailer parking is not allowed.

NO SMOKING & NO VAPING
— No smoking anything inside the unit or anywhere at the complex.
— Violators will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY, and a refund will not be issued.
— Violators will be charged a $500 fine. Additionally, there is an extra $200 cleaning fee.

CHECK-IN
Check-in is at 3:00 pm. We’ll message you the key code for self check-in 2 days prior to your arrival.

EARLY CHECK-IN
We do allow early check-in at 1:00 pm for an additional $50. Before arriving, please let us know if this is something that you will need.

CHECKOUT
Checkout is promptly at 10:00 am.

LATE CHECKOUT
We do allow checkout at 11:00 am for an additional $50. You must let us know at least the night BEFORE checkout. Unauthorized late checkouts will be assessed a $100 late checkout fee.

— 100% refund if cancellation is at least 30 days before check-in.
— 50% refund if cancellation is between 14 - 30 days before check-in
— Otherwise, no refund

DATE CHANGE POLICY
— Date changes only allowed/accepted up to 30 days prior to check-in.
