"The owner treated us very poorly. As soon as we arrived, he wanted to send us to another hotel because he said there was a problem (he'd given the room to someone else who was already settled in), even though I'd already paid for it in advance. The day we were leaving, he showed up screaming like a madman, saying we had to leave urgently. The hotel, the location, and the views are excellent, but the owner's mistreatment is unacceptable. "I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chrysalis in Astypalaia. The staff were absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. My room was beautiful, and the view from the balcony was nothing short of magical!! One thing to keep in mind: if you book extra services like car rental or a massage, these are paid in cash, so it’s worth being prepared. Overall, a perfect stay and I would definitely return!"
