Welcome to Harbor Blue Cottage! We are just a short walk from Walnut beach park, where you can relax or play in the waves of beautiful Lake Erie! A short walk from historical Bridge street that over looks the Ashtabula Harbor, offers everything from coffee, bakeries, amazing restaurants, shopping, a brewery and even a chocolate shop! Guests can enjoy the many amenities we offer; beach cruiser bikes, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, out door deck with grill and dining table!

Super quiet corner lot with beautifully decorated cottage close to beaches, harbor, and short drive to GOTL. Definitely plenty of room and amenities for all members of your family/party. You'll feel like you're in a chic hotel but have the privacy of an entire home. Dog friendly as well! Superb!

Great spot for a weekend at SPIRE

Perfect place to relax during off hours of a swim weekend. Resultants were wonderful and close, property had everything we needed, and the beach park down the road was wonderful for walks.

Girl's Trip

Loved the proximity to the beach and lake views. Great areas to gather both inside and outside made for fun in the evenings. Fabulous trip to wineries in Grand River Valley area.

Great stay

This was a great place to stay, conveniently located close to GOTL and Ashtabula (Walmart, restaurants,etc). It was clean and beautiful. I gave the location a 4/5 stars only because we were hoping to be able to see the lake from the property. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Perfect Lake Erie Home

This property was absolutely adorable. 1 block from Lake Erie, gorgeous sunsets, quiet street, and super safe. The rooms were so spacious, the entire house was absolutely spotless, and every detail was exactly like the listing. Communication with owner was seemless and they continued to check in to make sure we knew where everything was at in the house. I will never stay in another place in ashtabula, and would give this 10 stars if possible!

Great Stay

We were very impressed with the cleanliness, the amount of space in the overall appearance of the home. The one that bothered me as an elderly adult was the steps in the house, and no shower, but a bathtub. Also, the front step going into the house was a little too low. But overall, we enjoyed it so much and it was really a nice place to be.

Family getaway.

This was our first trip to Ohio. We had never been and didn’t know what town to choose. We picked this town at random and we loved the whole town. The house was exactly what we were looking for. All the beds were super comfortable. We brought our dogs and it was our first trip taking our dogs. They had a great time and loved the lake. Samantha was very good about staying in communication and keeping us informed of the check in process and any thing we needed she was available. Would definitely stay there again.

Adorable Cottage

An absolutely adorable cottage in Ashtabula, close to Walnut Beach. This house has it all!! You can tell the owners put a lot of time into making this house beautiful as it is filled with trendy, costal decor with a relaxing vibe! It is fully stocked, from toiletries to cleaning supplies to cooking needs and jelly bean dispensers (my kids favorite!), which was awesome as we forgot a few things! It saved us from wasting time on a run to the store! Previous VRBOs I stayed at did not have this. The back yard was a large space for kids to run around in and for our dogs too! We spent a lot of time there, grilling out and using the fire pit. And this time of year, we gathered lots of Buckeyes from the large tree in honor of our Ohio State Buckeyes! The location is great! Close to Walnut Beach and the adorable downtown Ashtabula. Also centrally located between Geneva and Conneaut. We were able to travel to both with a 15-20 minute drive. A great weekend away from the norm to spend with family! We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on a return trip up north to the lake! Can't wait to come back next year!
