Honeycutt Cottage was perfect for my husband and I to get some rest and relaxation away from our very busy lives. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The area is remote, but close enough to a very cute town with all amenities necessary (grocery store, bbq restaurant with delicious food).
The hot tub was a bonus, as was the deck overlooking the stream. Great place for morning yoga and happy hour drinks in the evening. The cows in the field behind the cottage were a source of much amusement.
We also did some wonderful hiking, which was not far at all. Asheville is very close, however, we just didn’t feel the need to leave the area. If you fly into Asheville, spend the day wandering around the eclectic town. We stopped at Trader Joe’s in Asheville before making our way north to cottage, which was a good move. A bbq is provided, so make sure you get the goods to grill out.
I would highly recommend Honeycutt Cottage for a getaway from everything. It is a great way to unplug from life.
