Beautiful private villa for 4 people with WIFI, pool, A/C, TV, terrace and parking

The Pieve di Sant'Ippolito is a small outbuilding in the heart of the Crete Senesi. You will find it on the outskirts of the village of Asciano, in a panoramic and sunny position. The property is composed of the manor house where the owners' family lives, an annexe and the very ancient Church of "Sant'Ippolito e Cassiano", whose origins date back to the 3rd-4th century AD. Inside the church you can admire a beautiful fresco painted by several renowned artists of the Umbrian school, such as Pinturicchio and Raphael, but erroneously attributed to the Sienese painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti a minor artist of the Sienese school. On 13 August, for the feast of Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, the church will be open to the public and a Holy Mass will be celebrated there. During the rest of the year, being part of private property, the owners allow it to be opened only on rare occasions, while guests of the house will be able to visit it freely.
You will reach the village of Asciano, with shops and services of all kinds, by a pleasant walk of just a few minutes.
All around the house you will find a large, fully fenced garden equipped with children's games, a table tennis table, barbecue and tables and chairs for your outdoor meals. The beautiful round swimming pool (dimensions 13 x 8 m, depth 1.20 - 2.10 m) with water geyser, infinity edge with waterfall and 3-seater whirlpool bath will be at your disposal during the whole year. Near the pool there are two gazebos furnished with relaxing armchairs, table, deckchairs and sun loungers for your days of rest in the company of your favourite book. Some outdoor spaces and the swimming pool are in common use with the owners.
At Sant'Ippolito you will find well-kept furnishings and the many facilities inside the house (air conditioning, satellite TV, barbecue, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, mosquito nets, alarm system and Wi-Fi connection) will guarantee a comfortable and relaxing holiday.
The owners are very helpful for any needs during your stay and particularly sensitive to energy saving, in fact the house is equipped with solar panels for the production of hot water.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub in der Toskana! Das Häuschen ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gemütlich, der Pool fantastisch und Asciano ist ideal gelegen, um die Toskana zu erkunden (Florenz, Siena, Arezzo, Pienza, Val d‘Orcia). Linda und ihre Familie sind super nett und waren immer ansprechbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wonderfull appartement with lots of things to do in the area around it for our children (3 9 years): basket ball, table tennis, trampoline, swing, slide and of course the nice and big pool with springboard. Very clean house and full equiped kitchen with dish washer and also a washing machine is available. Starting in Asciano you can reach by car Pisa (2,5h), San Marino (3h), Florenz (90min), Siena (45min), Saturnia thermal bath (2h) and even Rome by train (1h) from Chiusi train station (45min from appartement by car). The hosts are very friendly and kind as well as helpfull.

Auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft mit Pool in der Toskana fanden wir den ausgebauten Nebenbau zur Kirche des Sant Ippolito und der außergewöhnliche Pool, der Mal nicht nur rechteckig in der Sonne steht, fiel sofort positiv auf. Auch der Kinderspielplatz für unsere Töchter (3+9 Jahre) überzeugt. Asciano als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Florenz, Montemerano, Pitigliano, San Marino, Schwefelthermen und sogar per Zug nach Rom ist machbar. Zurück am Pool dann die absolute Idylle und alles ist sauber und die Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Super verblijft gehad . Prachtige locatie en erg blij met de airco. Vriendelijk ontvangst en mooie uitvalbasis voor Siena Arezzo Pienza Montepulciano etc. . Dorpje dichtbij ( 10-15 minuten lopen ) met een goede bakker en een paar goede koffie tentjes restaurants en een goede gelateria. Het zwembad is perfect en wordt goed onderhouden . Op het ruime terrein heeft veel speel mogelijkheden . Top tijd gehad . Ook wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt.

Nice house suitable for a family of 3-4. Two bed rooms, one with a double bed. Living room and well equipped kitchen. Very cozy property a kilometer or so from the town center. The host family lives in another house on the same property, and are very nice and hospitable, while not being intruding in any way. The private church on the property is worth a visit, it was built in 710 a.d. and has frescos from the 1500s inside. The pool is very nice, and there is a nice playground for children. We would happily stay here again.

Sehr schönes Häuschen auf einem tollen Grundstück, exklusive Situation, da keine keine anderen Mieter. Super nette Vermieterin, spricht englisch, sehr hilfsbereit. Toller Pool! Nah an Siena, Montepulciano, auch Florenz gut erreichbar. Nette Altstadt. Nur zu empfehlen! Lovely place , lovely people who run the place, fantastic places for sightseeing and eating around Tuscany all with 30-60 minute drive. Time spent lazing in the sun by the beautiful pool was just what the doctor ordered

We have just returned from spending one week in Tuscany, Italy and stayed at Pieve Di Sant Ippolito and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed to have a great holiday here and the hosts of this property were outstanding. The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We stayed here last week (Mum, Dad and two sons). What a wonderful place! Very clean and tidy and all equipment in kitchen and outside bbq you would need. Bedrooms well sized and outside area with plenty of sun bathing areas, games for the kids included table tennis, basketball and football. But the star of this week was the massive and very warm swimming pool with diving board and jacuzzi!! So nice even at night when the lights are on in the pool and it’s still very warm in or out. Linda our host spoke great English and was very helpful - she even gave us a going away present 🎁 this morning. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful but plenty to do or not do location. Eating out is good - can not go wrong with Italian food! Thank you Linda x

We had a great week at Pieve di Sant'Ippolito, it's a splendid and quiet location, the huge pool and outdoor area are really fantastic. We enjoyed the lovely garden with plenty of sun loungers and shady corners There were plenty of options for where to sit and enjoy eating outside depending on the time of day. We also appreciated the pleasant rooms and the comfortable equipment. The kitchen has everything you need ,big fridge to chill the delicious Italian wines and a dishwasher to keep everything clean and tidy. The owners were very helpful , they immediately installed an extra sunscreen when we asked for more shade on our terrace. The house is ideally located, 3 minutes by car from the supermarket , restaurants and other shops are also close by in the town of Asciano. We are definitely looking to stay there again!

PKW Stellplatz direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden, abgesichert durch ein elektrisches Tor, das über eine Fernbedienung geöffnet wird. Sehr angenehm. Kleine Kritikpunkte: lediglich 1 deutsches TV Programm (ZDF) vorhanden, abends , bei schlechtem Wetter oder bei Urlaub mit Kindern nicht optimal. DVD Player noch kein Blue Ray fähiges Gerät. Ein Paradies auf Erden. Unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt und übertroffen. Herzliche Gastgeber und ein wunderschöner Garten, der keine Wünsche offen läßt. Lovely place hosted by a very friendly family - beautiful pool and grounds. Good for either exploring the area or just relaxing by the pool. Only downside was lack of aircon, but the villa stayed pretty cool and they provided fans, which meant it wasn't a problem. Would definitely recommend.

Für uns (2 Erw., 2 Teens) war es eine perfekte Unterkunft. Die Ausstattung im Haus enthielt alles was wir benötigten und ließ für uns keinen Wunsch offen. Alles war in einem guten und sauberen Zustand. Der Pool war gut und die Bäume spendenden Schatten luden sehr zum Verweilen auf den Liegen ein. Das Gästehaus steht neben dem Haupthaus in dem die Großmutter sowie 2 Familien mit je 2 Kindern wohnen. Für uns war das passend und der abendliche Schnack, während die Kinder im großzügigen Garten unterwegs waren, war eine willkommene Abwechslung. Wir wurden liebevoll und zuvorkommend von der Gastfamilie empfangen und verabschiedet. Da wir die Fahrräder dabei hatten, war die Entfernung von wenigen 100m zum Zentrum kein Problem für uns. Preis/Leistung hat für uns gestimmt und entsprechend können wir die Unterkunft gerne empfehlen.

Everything was in a good and clean condition. The pool was good and the trees giving shade invited to linger on the beach chairs. The guest house is next to the main house, where the grandmother and 2 families with 2 children live. It was suitable for us and the evening chatter, while the children were playing in the spacious garden was a welcome change. We were received lovingly and courteous by the host family. Since we had the bikes, the distance of a few 100 metres to the centre was not a problem for us. Price/performance was right for us and accordingly we can recommend the property.
