We loved staying here. The hotel was full of history and in a beautiful location. The views overlooking the Tuscan hills were spectacular. We loved the quiet location and enjoyed walks on and near the property. Renting a car is a must and was perfect to take day trips to the beautiful historic Tuscan hill towns. The included breakfast was a beautiful spread with so much to choose from. We got quite spoiled between the delicious breakfasts and the dinners at the property restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Grazie mille! :) This hotel is a must and we will definitely be back when we visit Tuscany again.

It’s a nice cute small hotel. The whole pool are is very old and needs updating asap. We went to this hotel for the spa but when we got there we were told it’s not operating so it was very disappointing.

The breakfast was amazing and so was the staff. It is a beautiful facility and Maximo went out of his way to help us with a car issue. It was our best and most luxurious stay of our trip!

We stayed 4 days and are so glad we stayed here. The area has a restaurant right outside with the best view where they serve lunch and dinner. They also have a bar and a pool. It’s an old castle and yet they keep it clean and pretty restored. Breakfast buffet in the morning was included for us. The bathroom comment from others might be from not understanding how to use it as you have to pump the button several times to flush. The staff was wonderful and helpful. They spoke English and some Spanish.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and truly one of our favorite accommodations in Italy. Although it was a bit farther from Montepulciano, Pienza, and Montalcino, it was absolutely worth the drive. Its proximity to Siena made it a perfect base, and we genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The view from the dining area was perfect. The included breakfast was amazing and the complimentary ebike rentals were perfect to get around outside of the hotel to catch more amazing views! The food at dinner was perfect. The only thing that was lacking was the bathroom showers. Ours was leaking. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

Out of the way but it is a hidden gem in the Tuscan hills! Beautiful views, especially during dinner and the property is well maintained for its size and history. We stayed in the suite, which was very large and on theme. Customer service was excellent, special shout out to Giusy (Pina). Fantastic server and always with a smile. Breakfast was more than enough and pool was refreshing. Quiet place too.

The property is good and has a character. Well maintained over all. The pool is not for swimming and was dirty. We got the premium suite and it was not only over charged but also had poor AC. Breakfast was fine. You cannot walk anywhere from the property. No activities within itself either.
