Superb set meal each evening and the service from mainly Nepalese girls is so warm and friendly. The quality and variety of the dishes is very high. The onsen baths are large and the facilities are excellent. Very good value.

Staff were very friendly and courteous. Kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast were out of the world! Onsen, water temperature was perfect, and Jungle Onsen was interesting. Our room was tatami room with 2 beds which was large enough and comfortable. Even though the unit was rustic, it was very clean. They had no problem picking us up from the JR station even though I called the hotel in the morning of the arrival day. (Get off at JR Chikugo-Yoshiimachi station.) When we arrived at the station, the driver was already waiting for us with the sign. Let the front desk know if you need another ride returning to the station when you check in. Over all, we had a great stay at Taisenkaku Hotel.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to travel to this special ryokan. Because it is costly, we wanted to get there as close to check in as possible and enjoy all the amenities. The hot springs were absolutely beautiful and lush. The half board experience is not one to miss, and we loved our detached traditional Japanese room. Unfortunately communication for the shuttle pick up from the station fell off as we got closer to arrival and we were picked up late. We also were disappointed that they only offered one shuttle time to get us to the station which was at 920am.. although check out isn’t until 10am, and the first train back to Fukuoka is not until 10:25am. We would have appreciated more time enjoying our peaceful room if given an alternative time.

첫 료칸은 기분이 좋았던 것입니다.

17일부터 18일까지 1박2일 묵었습니다. 17일 입국심사가 밀려 공항에만 5시간 넘게 머물러 여행 시작도 전부터 피로가 몰려 있었는데 조용하고 편안한 분위기와 맛있는 음식, 분위기 있는 온천에 피로를 푹 풀고 갈 수 있었습니다. 한적한 시골 외곽에 있어 주변에 놀거리나 먹을거리는 부족하지만 왁자지껄한걸 좋아하지 않으시거나 조용한 걸 좋아하시는 분들이라면 추천드립니다. 야간에 편의점 걸어가며 바라본 깨끗한 별하늘은 외국이라는 특수한 환경과 맞물려 환상적으로 보이기 까지 했습니다. 직원 여러분들도 미숙한 일본어에도 친절히 대응해주셔 만족했습니다. 호텔 석식과 조식을 신청하였는데 평소 일본 음식은 달거나 짜거나 시다라고만 인식하고 있었는데 이렇게 담백한 음식도 있다는 걸 깨달을 수 있게 되어 귀중한 체험이었습니다. 마실거로 생맥주를 시켰는데 크리미한 느낌이 지금까지 먹었던 맥주 저에게 있어선 가장 최고였습니다. 료칸 자체는 시설이 오래된 느낌이 있어 그 부분에 대해선 불편하신 분들이 있을수도 있지만 그 이상으로 아늑한 느낌을 받을 수 있어 좋았습니다. 료칸은 처음 이용하여 걱정도 많았지만 사람많고 시끌벅적한 것을 좋아하지 않는 저에게는 굉장히 만족스러운 경험이었습니다. 추신)기본 제공되는 탕중에 정글탕은 꼭 들어가보시길 바랍니다. 야외 노천탕은 부담되지만 그런 분위기를 느껴보고 싶으신 분들에게는 즐거운 추억이 되실 것입니다.

癒されました

ご飯がとても美味しかったです。浅利の釜飯は絶品でした。半個室でしたので、周りを気にせず落ち着いて食事を楽しむ事ができました。お湯もやわらかくお肌がツルツルになりました。お風呂まで階段が多いので足が悪い方には厳しいかなと思いました。

泉質が素晴らしいです。サービスや清潔度も高い水準でしたが、客室の空調については微調整ができず、若干の不便を感じました。一方で、周辺環境は街全体の元気がないところで少し残念でした。

Excellent and grand onsen resort with incredible baths, beautiful rooms, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Quiet area with easy access to local restaurants and shops. Shuttle service provide to and from the train station.

和室のよさ再認識

今まで和室と言えば、古くて傷んだところが多いイメージがありましたが、ここは掃除が行き届いて畳も新しく快適に過ごせました。掃除がしっかりできているかどうかは、部屋に入ってまず、テレビのリモコンを見ればわかるように思います。

시설이 오래되긴 했지만...나름 운치가 있습니다. 주변은 조용한 시골마을인데 저녁식사 가능한 가게가 도보권으로 3-4개 몰려있습니다.(특히 우동집은...정말 맛있습니다.) 료칸의 베스트는 온천이네요~
