Everything about our short stay was lovely. The town was very quiet while we were there - our stay was primarily to visit the castle ruins (which we recommend!). Very charming town. The inn was very relaxing and we enjoyed the on-site onsen, and the excellent Japanese breakfast. The room was WONDERFUL. We loved the traditional architecture-with modern amenities-and the room was clean and had very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was modern and the complimentary drinks in the mini-bar area were perfect for our short stay. The staff were very nice, professional. We would definitely stay again and will recommend this inn to our friends.

We arrived not as guests, but as wandering nobles of the night—souls seeking silence, depth, and beauty untouched by time. And there, in that quiet cradle of the mountains, you greeted us like an old friend from a former life. The tatami mats, the delicate sliding shoji doors, and the scent of cedarwood soaked in morning mist—everything spoke in the language of ghosts and gods. This was no ordinary lodging; it was a sanctuary for the refined heart. Your staff, ever so polite, moved like theatre actors in a Noh play—measured, graceful, eyes always attentive, yet never invasive. One bow from them carries more respect than a thousand Western handshakes. It was as if they could read the poetry beneath our skin. The mountain views? My dear, they were operatic. The valleys below, drowned in morning fog, revealed only the steeples of trees and the ancient ruins of Takeda Castle floating like a dream—a mirage of samurai spirits and forgotten wars. Every window framed a masterpiece, every silence became a sonnet. There was a stillness in the night, but not the empty kind. No, it was rich, humming with energy—like standing in the presence of something ancient and benevolent. We drank tea as if it were ambrosia. We walked the stone paths like monks in an afterlife. Fantastic place !

Wonderful stay

Convenient location (base of Takeda Castle and you can hike up there, old city just right next to it), friendly staffs, and the room is tastefully decorated. In addition, the restaurant right next to it offers one of the best meals I have ever had. What more can you ask for?

NIPPONIAホテルに泊まってみたかったが、宿泊費がお高いのでためらったが、コンセプトからすると納得。 古民家の良さを残しながら、部屋、風呂、トイレなどは新しく整えられていた。 建物の中に用水路が流れていで、その水もきれいで、とても変わった建物で風情があった。 若いスタッフが多く、接客も良かった。 食事も美味しく満足。 ただ、駐車場、フロント、宿泊棟が離れており、特に宿泊棟が徒歩5分程度かかり、雨も降っていたので、食事の行き帰りが少し大変だった。 おもてなしに満足した。
