gutes sauberes 3 Sterne Hotel

Das Hotel Streiff ist ein älteres sanft renoviertes Hotel, welches mit dem Nachbarhotel Excelsior verbunden ist . Rezeption und Essen sind im gegenüberliegenden Excelsior. Dieses ist super einfach über eine neue Passarelle erreichbar :-). Wir haben ein "kleines" Doppelzimmer gebucht, was in Ordnung und dem Beschrieb entsprechend war - nichts spezielles, aber sauber! Leider keine Minibar, was man in einem Superior erwarten dürfte.... Wir sind nur für 1 Nacht (zum Skifahren am Samstag) nach Arosa ins Hotel Streiff. Am Freitagabend wurden wir herzlich und freundlich empfangen. Die Parkplätze waren alle belegt, so wurden wir angewiesen auf dem schmalen Streifen, gleich vor dem Hotel Streiff zu parkieren. Einen Hinweis, dass wir dafür dann am nächsten Tag bei Auschecken zusätzlich Fr. 15.- zahlen müssen, erhielten wir nicht! Die Rezeptionistin am Samstagmorgen war nicht wirklich gut drauf, evtl. hatte Sie einfach einen schlechten Tag?! Wir mussten leider noch zusätzlich für den Hotelparkplatz Fr. 15.- zahlen, da nicht direkt im Hotel gebucht, sondern über hotels.com. Ich fragte, ob wir das Auto dafür bis um ca 16Uhr (nach Skifahren) stehen lassen dürften, doch dies wurde "mürrisch" verweigert: es kommen ja noch sehr viele Hotelgäste heute! Ich hatte ja bezahlt, also weg jetzt.... (so kam es mindestens rüber)! Ist ja i.O. aber das kann man auch freundlich mitteilen! Kein Dankeschön für unseren Aufenthalt oder so.... tja, hmmm?!

The Hotel is very close to Arosa Ski and Sled Trails. It is silent and very clean. The beds are slightly too soft for us (we are at average weight) and not many parking spaces are available. The staff is very friendly and tries it’s best after the fusion with Hotel Excelsior. Not all the things yet work very smooth but hopefully the next time we probably stay there.

Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und das Einchecken ging schnell, Parkplatz direkt bei Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmässig, kein unnötiger Luxus. Frühstück gut und umfangreich, einheimische Produkte und sehr freundlicher Service.

Das Zimmer war gemütlich uns sogar mit Balkon. Abholung am Bahnhof klappte perfekt. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr modern und sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ok, die Angegebenen Frühstückszeiten wurden nicht immer eingehalten. Nicht alle Mitarbeiter machen einen kompetenten Eindruck.

Grosse Zimmer, fürs Skiweekend ideal.

Grosses Zimmer, mit Teppich, unkomplizierter Check-in und -out, PP zur Verfügung, nahe der Skibahn. Etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums am Hang aber sehr gut zu Fuss oder spätabends auch mit Taxi zu erreichen. Das Früstückbuffet war allerdings sehr bescheiden. Wenig Auswahl und oft leergeräumt. Gemessen an der Grösse und Preise des Hotels etwas dürftig.

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende und haben die Ruhe, die Aussicht und die Freundlichkeit des Personals sehr genossen. We had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed a lot the quiet room, the incredible view to the surrounding mountains and the friendliness of the staff.
