"It was a good location and very pretty. The staff was great. But the hotel is also very outdated. The one thing they need to fix right away are the doors. They get jammed and they are hard to open. Not a great feeling when it takes a while to get out of the room. Made me feel very unsafe. I did tell the manager."
"Staff was attentive. Had a clogged toilet upon arrival, staff fixed it immediately.
A bit dated, staff kept garbage dumped, sheets and towels fresh as we stayed five nights.
If you’re looking for a basic, no frills place to stay, this would suffice."
"Perfect hotel if you are driving through. Only a few minutes off the freeway. Brand new renovation of the inside of the hotel was awesome. Great price for the value! Beds were super comfortable and rooms clean. I would stay here again when in area!"
"Cozy Cabin was perfect! Beautiful, quiet setting. I had the best sleep in a very long time. No planes flying overhead or traffic noise. Just peaceful country sounds.Very easy to get to and close to the Herkimer digs.Outhouse was clean and the shower was refreshing!"
"The Haslett Hpuse is an absolute gem. This historic house is so steeped in history. Staff is amazing and does everything to make you feel at home, if not part of the family. Breakfast was great and totally made to our order and preferences. The town has a lot of history as well. Any of the few shops and businesses are within easy walking distance. My wife and I stayed here before our visit to Cooperstown. If we are ever in this region of NY again, we will surely stay at Haslett House!"
