"Our apartment was very modern but the property still has a very historic and, especially, authentic country feel. Very much appreciated the wood stove at that time of year. Only critique was lack of any American TV. While we don't particularly travel to Portugal to watch TV, when we stay in country places at this time year we don't relish driving after dark. Next time we'll know to have our tablet ready for movies."

"Rustic home with beautiful antique decor and furnishings from previous generations. Well equipped kitchen, utensils, dishes, pots/pans galore, nothing missing to make you feel at home. Comfortable beds, a great place to escape the urban noise and enjoy a different pace of life. If you're lucky, you may even see an older guy with a trailer and donkey/Acolhador, tranquilo; um paraíso rustico apenas a 10 minutos de Bragança. Não falta nada para se sentir na própria casa."

"This place is great. Right in the center of the town, close to stores, the market, garden, swimming pool, dinning options. The place is spacious with lots of natural light. Very comfortable bed and couch. The kitchen is well equiped. It's quiet despite being downtown. The TV wasnt quite working but it was alright, i didn't need it. There is wifi. "

"Para ser honestos hay que diferenciar el alojamiento del entorno. La casa (Tía Judite) forma parte de un conjunto rural con otras tres casas independientes. El acceso, por camino de tierra y piedras desde Negreda puede resultar algo delicado. Al llegar, la primera impresión (en nuestro caso) no fue positiva: Un montón de basura esparcida fuera de los cubos, que se veía que llevaba varios días así. Es un detalle a corregir. "Bragança is a lovely and friendly city in the north of Portugal. The house is situated in the ancient part of this city, close to a small river. From the masterbedroom you can see the castle which is very nice to visit. The kitchen is complete. There is a washingmachine, dishwasher and large refrigerator. "Camping en pleine nature vue magnifique , calme agréable endroit atypique par sa beauté/vue Amoureux de la nature allez y vous ne serez pas déçu. Le soleil n’était malheureusement pas au rendez vous sinon nous aurions pu profiter de la piscine. Je recommande l’endroit, nous y retournerons c’est sure. Merci pour l’hospitalité et les renseignements également obtenu par l’hôte."

A great place to stay reasonably near Miranda do D

"Friendly exceptionally clean hotel with wonderful menu for dinner. Good wine list at friendly prices. The bed was a medical grade mattress which was a bit too firm for us. All in all a wonderful place to stay not far from Portugal Spanish border. Listing did not say that whilst it was off a listed road it was not now the main road so was quiet.Hotel refurbished a year or so ago and is popular with locals always a good sign "

Basic but worked well

"A simple and basic stopover but worked Ok for us. We were able to park motorbike around the side of the hotel and it felt safe. We walked into town and found a nice friendly restaurant with lovely local food, excellent value. It was a served breakfast, simple but very nice, in particular wonderful warm bread."
