"3 days after the reservation and only 3-4 hours before the check in the host canceled. We found out only 1 hour before check in and as we had just landed in El Calafate. Host sent us one single sentence in Spanish, offered no explanations nor any suggestions to help us find something at the last minute. I contacted the host for help and got back no responses. "This place was really perfect for our family - grandparents, parents and an 18 month old. The space, modern and stylish, accommodated us well and we loved having the outdoor space as well as a comfy living room. It's a great location, right in town near many restaurants and trailheads. It has a view over the town and mountains in the distance. Good 3br apartments, especially where the kitchen and living area are big enough to function for a group, are hard to find in El Chalten. Recommended."

We are very grateful to Luna, a staff member that spoke perfect English, for all of her recommendations on tours, hikes, restaurants and local culture. We enjoyed the breakfast, comfortable beds, and proximity of the hotel to nearby restaurants and shops in San Carlos de Bariloche while being situated in a park-like setting with views of the lake and mountains.
