Absolutely wonderful

We went for my father in laws 80th birthday, with family travelling from as far away as Australia with a 7 year old and two teenagers. It was a fantastic holiday. The house exceeded all of our expectations and the hosts were magnificent.

Lovely villa in a great location

The villa is bigger and nicer than the photos show. The outside area is beautiful. It’s a 15 minute walk to collioure and less than 10 minutes to a beach with a beach bar.

Paradise in the South of France

We loved the expansive property with multiple seating areas, outdoor kitchen, pristine pool and proximity to Collioure, Racou and Argelès-sur-Mer. The house is even nicer than shown in the pictures and Marie Clare and Jeremy were excellent hosts. 10/10 stay.

Beautiful property

We were fortunate that, unusually, the property was available during the winter. Our extended family stayed 12 nights over the Christmas/New Year holidays. We received a warm welcome from Marie Claire and were pleased to find a decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We enjoyed the location, a short walk to the Mediterranean, and a 15-18 minute walk to Collioure. The grounds have parking for multiple vehicles, which is useful.A very memorable holiday!!

The property was large, clean and had everything you could wish for. All the cooking items. It is on a lovely setting, it had a number of areas to sit -in the shade and out, and also different places to eat. We had breakfast in one place and dinner somewhere else. The weather was hot but there was a breeze most days.

Beautiful Collioure

We had a lovely holiday here as a family with our two small dogs, The accommodation is spacious and excellent. There are several places to eat in the garden which has beautiful flowers.There is an easy walk to the beach and a slightly more challenging walk to Collioure, which we loved. The shop in the adjacent campsite is very good. The garden was safe and secure for our dogs but there isn't a fence around the pool or a pool cover.

We did not want to leave!

We did not want to leave this lovely secluded, spotless house with a large pool, surrounded by apple and olive trees. The house is really well equipped with anything you need for cooking, with 2 BBQ areas for eating al fresco. Great for fun activities with toys and a table tennis table. Easy to find, with beach access just 5 minutes away. Its a short walk from Coulliere town (although quite a steep hill back!) which has a bustling market, lovely restaurants and a castle.

The property is wonderful. It offers a lot for either a large group or family. It has multiple entertainment areas outside and the open plan lounge/dining with generous dining table allowed for some wonderful, fun evenings. We located the stereo upstairs but there was no Bluetooth option. The bedrooms are spacious and the two downstairs rooms have ensuites. All bedrooms in the large house have aircon. The location is slightly further away from Collioure than we expected, around 25 mins of hilly and flat terrain. La Racou is only 1km away. There is a campground 100mts away that offers a well equipped supermarket and very nice restaurant. There is an on-site maintenance person (Jeremy) who live in a separate house but will help with anything you need. The actual location of the property caused a bit of confusion so it’s best to head toward the campground (Camping Les Criques Des Porteils), the house is on the lane to the right as you approach and signposted. Thank you to Marie and Alfred, you provided a wonderful experience for our group - one we will never forget!

Perfect vacation home

The house and the garden are perfect. Better than the photographs, if that is possible. Everything was as we had hoped for. We had young children in our group and every extra they needed was available for us. Even the swimming pool was safe for them as it is not located very close to the house. The only problem that we had during our stay was when we needed an ambulance (due to appendicitis) and we couldn’t give them the exact address of the place. Maybe that was because of language problems. But Jeremy solved it perfectly by driving us to the hospital. So, even that incident went well in the end.

Stunning!

The facilities at the property were excellent. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful part of France. Both the beach and Collioure were within walking distance, Collioure being particularly stunning.

Beautiful Home

Great week in very warm weather. Beautiful home with loads of room for different groups. Beautiful outdoor kitchen & eating area. Lovely garden. The pool was the highlight.Small shop and restaurant a few hundred meters away. Walk to Collioure was on very quiet road - somewhat hilly but largely ok for all if not super hot.Merci Marie & Thank you Jeremy.

Wonderful!

We loved it! Marie Claire and Jeremie were so helpful and welcoming. The house and its surrounding really is even better than the photographs, it’s perfectly designed (we were a family of seven across three generations), equipped and located. We really enjoyed Plage de L’Ouille 10 mins walk away, and lovely Collioure.

Wir waren begeistert von der Grösse des Hauses und der grosszügigen Einrichtung. Der Garten ist riesig, es gibt Grillmöglichkeiten, eine Bar und eine Lounge beim Pool. Die Übergabe und Abnahme hat wunderbar geklappt, alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns an Marie Claire oder Jeremy wenden und es wurde uns unmittelbar danach weitergeholfen. Unser mittelgrosser Hund durfte gegen einen Aufpreis mitkommen und man konnte ihn im umzäunten Garten frei laufen lassen. Er durfte mit an den Strand, es ist jedoch Leinenpflicht. Die Strände sind zu Fuss gut erreichbar in einigen Gehminuten. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten. Vielen Dank für die wunderbaren Ferien.

Großartig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Der Check-in funktionierte schnell und unkompliziert. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben: Strand ist fussläufig (in 10-20 Minuten) erreichbar. Die nahegelegene Straße und Bahntrasse stören nicht. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und insbesondere die Küche funktional und komplett eingerichtet/ausgestattet. Wir haben uns bestens selbst verpflegen können. Der Garten und Aussenbereich ist wunderschön und außergewöhnlich (eigener Pool, Grill-/Essplatz, Garage). Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und bestens erholt.

Traumhaftes Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir verbrachten eine tolle Woche mit 2 Familien und Hund. Besonders gut gefiel uns die Lage direkt am Meer und die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten in der Außenanlage. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Belle maison, très beau jardin

Nous avons vecu la semaine dehors avec les 3 extérieurs distincts tres jolis et très bien équipés ( transats, parasols canapés, fauteuils confortables et coquets). 10mn à pied pour aller sur la plage en galets, 5mn par le camping sur les rochets. Epicerie du camping proche très bien fournie et juste un peu plus chère. Centre de Collioure à 20 mn à pied, ça monte et ca descend par un chemin sans trop de voiture. Le train est visible mais peu derangeant. Par contre la route de la corniche surplombe la villa, même si elle est cachée par la vegetation. On l entend quand pas de vent. Ce serait le paradis sans cette voie! Il faut dire que j ai une hyper sensibilité au bruit.

Propriété avec piscine à 5mn à pied de la mer

Grande propriété bien entretenue avec bel espace piscine et 2 autres espaces barbecues /repas trés agréables . Grande maison avec tout le confort ,trés propre ,rien ne manque .Seul bémol la proximité de la route et de la voie de chemin de fer mais comme on est dans un écrin de nature ce n'est pas génant .Et surtout on est à 5 mn à pied de la mer dans une zone naturelle protégée .Ajouté à cela de hotes accueillants . Bref un séjour trés agréable .

Fantastischer Urlaub

Wir ( sieben Erwachsene) waren im Juni in der wunderschönen Villa. Der Empfang und die Betreuung durch Marie-Claire waren sehr herzlich. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet, die Gartenanlage ist ein Traum. Es gibt nichts, das wir ändern würden :-) ! Collioure - ein wirklich besuchenswertes Städtchen - ist sehr nah und auch zu Fuss problemlos zu erreichen. Ebenso der Strand. Einzig der Verkehrslärm der nahen Strasse ist ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus und der traumhafte Garten entschädigen absolut dafür. Herzlichen Dank dem Besitzer und Marie-Claire!

Fantastic property

We arrived tired at the property and were met by Marie Claire who could not have been more friendly . The house was immaculate with modern appliances and a lovely garden with areas for everyone to enjoy themselves . The pool was cleaned and maintained regularly and we even spent a day with the owners family and friends . A fantastic stay with the beautiful town of Collioure very close by . We will definitely return . Merci Marie Claire et votre famille xx
