In town for a Lynchburg University event and it was a perfect location between the school and all of the fun things to do in downtown that are within walking distance. Host doesn’t leave anything out from comfy beds and furniture to bathroom amenities that you might forget and the awesome coffee bar. They think of everything you might need. We had a fantastic time. We will be back!」

「Totally misleading advertisement! No where did it say communal bathroom. Dilapidated property, dirty communal bathroom, did not feel safe. Left immediately and demanded refund. Shocked that VRBO would list this dump!」

「The house is very old & although it's been restored, there are unavoidable things with an old house: very creaky floors & doors. (Not great for people with babies or people needing privacy). Original tubs/showers are very narrow have rust stains. They are clean, but don't look clean. There were critters in the attic & walls. We never saw them, but heard them. Also, the mattresses weren't great. Two of them were VERY firm; the other was thin & old. Also, the area is a little rundown and the house...

They rotated between the hot tub, the swings on the pergola, playing in the creek and roasting marshmallows. The host was very responsive when we called with a question. The Hygge House is a perfect retreat for families!」
