We loved the spacious room and the location near the center of Appalachicola. The place is clean, has a very comfortable bed, closet, coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. The bathroom has two sinks and a big shower box. We only spent one night and cannot tell if they clean the room every day. There’s no staff, frontdesk, nor kitchen with breakfast. We could not manage the channels on the TV. The self serve checking was a bit tricky, but manageable. I didn’t like the steep staircase (no elevator), but do recommend the place.

Unique old building, suites are on a beautifully restored 2nd floor. The rooms are very clean, and the decor is very impressive. The virtual check in process and keyless property and room entry system worked without a hitch. Location in downtown Apalachicola is excellent with easy access to shops and restaurants. Overall great experience. Will definitely book again in the future.

The room was clean and very convenient to downtown Apalachicola. The only major issues were that the AC did not work the entire time of our stay and we were locked out of the main entrance. We reported the AC problem and never received a call back or response. The digital lock had to be reset and finally we were able to access our room to check out.

Our stay at The Montgomery was amazing. The room was very lovely and the decor was very unique. The bed was very comfortable and I slept peacefully. We only spent one night but I want to return for a long weekend. Thank you!
