Definitely SEA the SHELL😀
Vbro - We love AMI and we really loved the location of 215 Fir ave. The house was just a few streets away from Pine Ave, the Ami community center and 3 houses from the beautiful gulf side beach up toward Bean Point. The backyard was very private with beautiful landscaping. We enjoyed the heated pool and it looked so nice at night too when it was lit up- the tiki guy was cool! The house had everything we needed, although it could use some updates and we would suggest fewer carpets- the tile/ laminate floors would be easier to keep clean without them. Also it might be better to have some type of shed to keep the bikes (now rusted) and beach toys in rather than on the back patio. Other than those few things, the SHELL house was great and we had a fantastic two week stay there! Thank you for listing your home and allowing us to enjoy it.

Location and backyard is fantastic! Would stay here again for that very reason. But the house desperately needs some updating- mold in the bathrooms. Bathroom sink clogged by day 3..

Great location.
Excellent location and close to the wonderful beach. Well furnished and practical kitchen. Good with two en suite bathrooms. Beautiful little garden and pool, inviting place to dine or just sit in the sun.

Excellent location!!!! Great House!!!
Neighbors all very friendly and the home is beautifully decorated and very modern feeling. Love the location…easy walk to The Sandbar, Harry’s, Bortells, Ginny and Jane’Es, Pizza Social, Popo’s and a handful of others including the new pier. Shopping on Pine is divine! Loved the outdoor space and pool. Would be nice to have two lounge chairs instead of just one. The screened in patio was our favorite place to hang out! Maybe a table for dining out there? Just a thought. We did have an issue with the door code and it took about 45 minutes to remedy but Vacasa via text was very helpful and I would suggest that a new lock be installed. They did finally gave us a code for a lock box where there was a key. Why not just give both codes? We absolutely recommend this rental!

Perfect house for a group of 4
This house sits on the perfect street with direct access to the beach. My family loved the pool and the layout of the house. We loved the location! The door code didn’t work but they have a code box with a set of keys as backup so that was perfect. There was a little construction nearby but you will run into that no matter where you stay- lots of renovations. It didn’t bother us at all. My only suggestion is more beach towels (6) and beach chairs (4). Would stay again!

Lovely old AMI bungalow.
A few areas of improvement would make this place a perfect 10: new beach equipment, extra pool lounger, cleaning of outside shower and covered porch, and more dishes and pans. Location was perfect and so was the pool. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!.

Neighborhood is noisy
Neighborhood is noisy. We found the house to be well equipped and very comfortable. However there was an amazing amount of noise from neighboring construction projects the entire week. We had three days with no Internet because of a snapped wire or damaged equipment. Hope we can get some compensation for that.

Great location, piece of old Florida
This type of house is why we started coming to Anna Maria. The way Florida used to be. Super location-nice quiet dead end street with no off street parking for others. Beautiful back yard-even with the larger houses around it, you have privacy. Beds are very comfortable. We enjoy this house very much.

Location, location, location
The house is a small cottage very fit for 4 people. It is a very short walk down a quiet street to the beach access. It is very clean and cute. It's actually nicer than the impression I got from the photos. The backyard/pool area feels very private due to the lush foliage, though it's surrounded by neighbors. A real oasis. We ended up renting bikes as the ones pictured were inoperable. We had some minor inconveniences with the auto door locks and the ceiling fans that management did not/could seem to address. But these issues were minor compared to the great location of the property.
