「We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb....

「すごくゆっくりとできるホテルです。ヨーロッパからのカップルがほとんどで、みなさんゆっくりとしています。周囲には何もありませんので、フルボードやハーフボードがいいかもしれません。私は食事無しのプランでしたので、毎回ホテルのレストランで食べました。おいしいですし、値段もそれほど高くありません。夜中に野生の猿が屋根の上を歩くので、けっこう音が気になりました。あと、突然停電があり、食事はろうそくの明かりで取りました。部屋にはかなり大きな懐中電灯があるので、大丈夫でした。」

「This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. 「Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. 」
