Cozy Mountain Chalet with Incredible Views!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath mountain chalet is the perfect place for your family vacation. Nestled in the towering pines above Angel Fire, the wall of windows floods the space with natural light and allows you to take in the views of both the 4th fairway of the golf course and the ski slopes! Relax in the living room with its soaring tongue and groove ceilings and beautiful stone fireplace with handmade mantle. You can even enjoy those mountain views from the kitchen, which features granite countertops, an undermount sink and a long breakfast bar that overlooks the living room. There’s also a dining area that opens up to a large deck. Down the hall, there are two guest rooms – one with a full bed and the other with a set of bunk beds. This main level also has a full bathroom with a granite-topped vanity and tub/shower combo. There’s a laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the master retreat boasts vaulted ceilings and a beautiful ensuite with a corner shower. The loft area is the perfect place to curl up with a book or a glass of wine. You’ll appreciate all of the custom updates in this lovely chalet.
In addition to the comfortable space, this home features high speed fiber optic Internet allowing you to stream your favorite shows and movies on the Roku TV in the living room or keep in touch with the outside world. This would be a great home for a work-from-anywhere getaway.
There’s a two-car garage for your vehicles and/or your bikes and gear.
This chalet sleeps 6 guests, leaving plenty of space for EVERYONE to dine, relax, play games and get ready for their next Angel Fire adventure. This location puts you close to all that Angel Fire has to offer: golfing (1.5 mi), skiing/bike park (2.5 mi), boating and fishing (Monte Verde Lake 3 mi), hiking on the many greenbelt trails and dining.

A very relaxing place with very few other people people nearby during the off season. The resort is nice and anyone can eat or drink at the Country Club. You can even play golf!

Spring Break 2025

Loved it all! Been staying in Angel Fire for the past 5 seasons and this is by far our favorite chalet. We really liked the fact that the house was up the mountain and had amazing views right out the windows. Elk, Deer, bobcat, turkey, we saw them all just roaming around. The house was stocked with all of the little things you need, sleds for the kids, grill for some home cooking, etc. Highly recommend!

Beautiful View!

My husband stayed in the Cozy Mountain Chalet for a month to escape the Texas heat. The home is situated higher in the mountains overlooking the golf course below. The views are beautiful and the house is probably one of the best stocked rentals we've stayed in. It is perfect for a family or group of friends. We saw lots of different wildlife right by the house, hiking, and roaming around the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Beat the heat

2nd time staying here. We will hopefully return again. Very quiet, plenty of room. Abundant wildlife. Nice sized kitchen and garage. Property is showing a little ware and tear inside and out. Was very pleased to see the driveway improved from last year.

Awesome mountain retreat!

This mountain retreat was great! Located about 8 minutes to Angel Fire! Roomy house with a beautiful view! Our host Barb was very quick to respond. We had trouble getting up the driveway with all the snow and her husband came right over to help. Definitely have AWD or 4WD to go up. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, pretty happy with the stay very nice and clean up-to-date cabin, plenty of amenities nice yard neighbors not to close one other cabin probably 300 ft away Others are in a distance very comfortable place the only thing this place dint have was cable tv so you will need a channel app or something if you want to stream

Beautiful and comfortable!

Wonderful getaway close enough to the slopes to make it easy if you are skiing like we were. Wonderful kitchen. We brought all our own food and had all meals here. Having the laundry was also so nice! We loved the couches and the ability to build a fire each evening upon our return from skiing! The wildlife was a nice extra! Driveway is VERY steep. Be aware…we got stuck, but the owners were so kind to help us then came back and grated and treated the drive.

Great location, house needs maintenance

Great cabin location with amazing views, the cabin could use some maintenance and improvements, there are broken and non functional window blinds, also not the most clean VRBO property where we have stayed before. The carpet is old and stained, for a place like this it would be much better in my opinion installing solid flooring. Barb was definitely helpful. I would stay here again because we loved the view and location, it would just be more confirtable if the cabin were cleaner and renovated… specifically replacing the carpet and putting in new appliances (stove and fridge are too old). Everything else is great!
