「Very heavy traffic in marginal neighborhood complete with homeless and rats on the street. Fumes and high noise level come into the apartment through cracks in walls and some broken and permanently open windows. We had a baby in the family group, so we left the same day we arrived, and had to go to a hotel because of the busy time of year. Waiting for requested refund, with no response from owner. Help, VRBO! In lesser news, the sofa was torn, metal wires were hanging down from the stove hood,...

「The building (class suites) is in a very nice section of El Poblado, about a 10 min walk to Santa Fe Mall and only 2 block from a nice supermarket, called La Vaquita. The building is 17 stories high and this apartment is on the 7th floor. The problem is that your balcony faces the street, so you hear the traffic below all day and all night (maybe after 2 AM - gets quicker) long. I know that there is a lot of traffic in El Poblado, but I thought this was in a more residential area - thus quieter....
