Loved the rustic, homey warmth of the property. We were here for a wedding at the resort but wanted family time in a quieter setting. Convenient location. Beautiful scenery. We had a great time.
Overall met our needs. Happy surprise to have three bedrooms but one has totally open upper ceilings so room noise level is high. Hot tub was nice and location is great. Kitchen could use more mixing bowels and cook wear but overall met our needs. Needs updating and TLC but overall good for family with dogs:)

Review April 2023
Our stay was cut short due to no hot water, home was fairly clean but needs some deep cleaning (mopped floors, dusting/cob webs, surfaces washed). A deep cleaning would hopefully help the smell of “older home” go away too. Bedding needs updating too; has holes in both bed linens upstairs. Good points; large enough to have a family visit with space for everyone; view was beautiful; location is fantastic!

This property could be amazing but it is VERY tired and old. Every single bed had bedding with multiple holes. Flooring is ripped up in sections and the beds are very thin and not comfortable. Pillows were just gross, bring your own if you can. Kitchen was old but ok but all the pots and pans are old and rusty. The hot tub was nice and location was great. One of the two fireplaces wouldn’t work but worst was that we never got hot water the entire time we were there for a ski vacation. No one got to shower all weekend! Vacasa was responsive when texted but never actually sent anyone to fix it or do anything about it. A week later and they are still saying “someone will get back to us” but nothing was ever done. Until they can do many updates I would definitely give this a pass, especially for the cost.
Property Well Past Prime - Old, Tired, and in Need of a Facelift
This location and home SEEMED ideal… Thank goodness, the bathroom toilets, and floors were clean, even if EXTREMELY worn and outdated. The floors in the main living space and bedrooms were vacuumed, and the refrigerator and hot tub were also very clean…but that is the short list of positives. This entire house needs, at the very least, a DEEP CLEAN and more likely, an entire overhaul.
Negatives: Used coffee grounds left in the coffee maker, tea kettle very greasy, counters and table needed unwiped, cabinets - old and sticky.
Both propane tanks for the grill were empty. We called Vacasa as soon as we arrived (4:00 pm) to get new propane tanks hoping to grill steaks that night. Although we were told someone would call & replace the tanks soon, nothing.
Living room: condition of the furniture was suspect, because everything was so old - it made you wonder if the sofas were clean enough to sit or lay on. The area rug required a deep clean at the very least...or may just need to be replaced. The entry area would have benefitted from some hooks for coats, backpacks, hiking poles, water bottles, etc. -- as a result, our gear just ended up in a heap on the floor.
Bathrooms vents were disgustingly dirty -- were so filled with dust that we cleaned them ourselves! Bedroom: cheap mattresses, pillows, and bedding - we made sure not to walk barefoot since ALL carpets are completely stained. We were also asked to drive our garbage into town at end of stay? Vacasa (more to say)
Cute but well warn home. Want very clean for our stay and few outlets functioned.
Location and view was great.

This place needs some TLC—the dishwasher was broken, the hot tub was overrun with bacteria and one toilet was also broken. Vacasa (property manager) was informed about toilet and hot tub and couldn’t get anyone to come out in the 4 days/3 nights we were there. The outlets are literally coming out of the wall and there is no WiFi. Plus there was no remote for the upstairs tv in the bedroom rendering it useless.
The host did not reply to messages of concern. We checked in and the temperature was very cold in the cabin with no instructions on how to turn the heat up. We did eventually figure it out but I immediately sent a message and received a message in response over 24 hrs later when I responded about a different issue. On Sunday at 6:30am we were woken up by someone shoveling the deck with no notice or warning. He said he was screamed at by his boss to clear the deck at 6am even though there were guests who were checking out that day. There are no curtains on the windows along the desk so it was a complete invasion of privacy and totally inappropriate timing. The cabin itself was fine but definitely needs to care. The dishwasher is falling by apart and the handle was scary to use to open when we’re required to do dishes before leaving. No hot pads or anything to grab hot dishes out of the oven. No baking sheets to use. Upstairs bathroom has issues with flushing and the handle would get stu k. Overall, I was completely overcharged for all of the fees and will be disputing.
Stayed in this cute home so we could ski at Aleyska. It's an easy 12-minute walk to the slopes, which was fantastic. The home is well-stocked with everything you need and there's plenty of space for everyone. Very cozy. We docked stars only for cleanliness, because the rugs in the living room and bathrooms were fairly dirty. Other than that, our stay was great!

Cabin is cozy but very well used. It was as pictured but pretty dirty and in need of maintenance and updating. We struggled to find outlets that worked and there were lamps placed in locations without power available. We also could not figure out how to control the heat. No thermostat's were present, knobs on baseboards were turned all the way down but heaters continued heating and home was quite warm.
There was NO HEAT. It’s mid-May, still in the 40’s, and there was no central heat, the living room fireplace did not work, and there was only one tiny space heater. The hot tub and garbage disposal did not work. The overall maintenance on the property was bad, it needs work. Horrible experience all the way around.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was close to several excellent restaurants and activities. We would make a couple suggestions. One being offering outside seating on the deck to enjoy an evening cocktail. The other would be a hair dryer. We could not find one. Perhaps it was stored somewhere else we didn’t look. All in all we enjoyed your home very much.

Nice chalet for long ski weekend
Chalet is comfortable and spacious, and it was a short walk to the ski hill and brewery. Kitchen is dated but functional. Hot tub was great! Gas grill was promised but not present, and customer service was unresponsive. Somewhat kid friendly but gas fireplace in main is definitely a hazard. Recommend a baby fence of some sort for infants or young toddlers.

Not much to love. Filthy dirty. Had to wash rugs and bedding before using. We were there 4 nights and were given one towel per person for the whole stay. Not a great way to start out vacation. There was internet when we first got there and then shut it off for some reason. Will not recommend to anyone.

Needs up keep
Grill was solid mold, kitchen oven had mold and was very dirty. So did not feel like we could cook anything there. Floor in downstairs bathroom was vinyl and laundry he are in doorway was all ripped up. Fireplace in bedroom didn’t work and no heat in downstairs bathroom. Holes in doors.
House was lovely but it was a little frustrating not having a local office & dealing with an 800 #. But once property manager contacted us personally it was easier.
