  • Newly Renovated-Escape to this cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment, just 4 minutes by car to the tram and a short walk to the beautiful Virgin Fall Trail. Whether you`re an outdoor enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this spot offers the perfect combination of comfort and convenience.
    The apartment features a fully stocked kitchen. The living area includes a comfortable futon (sleeps one adult), a working space and smart TV. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom.

    This apartment is on the top level of our home. There are stairs equivalent to a 2nd level home, please consider that with your physical ability. You`ll have your own entrance. Quiet hours between 11pm to 7am, no parties allowed. This unit does not allow pets.
    No smoking in the unit, smoking needs to be done 100ft from the door.
    No parties or events.

Overall, the place was okay, but we did not feel particularly welcomed because the host was cold compared with many of the hosts we interacted with during our 10-day trip to Alaska. The host’s responses were fast, though. 1) The check-in process was somewhat confusing. For example, finding the extra bed sheets required several messages. It would have been helpful to have a clear sign informing guests that they needed to go downstairs to retrieve the plastic storage boxes, or to place a clear sign at the entrance where the boxes are located so guests would know where to find them when they enter. 2)The property also asked guests to remove their shoes, which meant walking barefoot through the entrance area shared with other apartments. At other properties we stayed at, the hosts provided slippers for guests, which would have been a thoughtful alternative. 3)We specifically requested a separate bed covering, but after several back-and-forth messages, we were simply told, “This is what we have,” referring to a thin decorative blanket on the bed. A more suitable blanket or clearer information about the available bedding would have improved our stay.
