Welcome to Cabin 1 - a warm and inviting retreat tucked into the forested heart of Scimitar Ridge Ranch. Designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, this one-bedroom cabin captures the spirit of ranch living with its rustic charm, cozy furnishings, and natural wood finishes. Inside, you’ll find exposed wood beams stretching across the ceilings, ranch-style décor, and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for rest and reconnection.

The living room offers plush, comfortable couches ideal for unwinding after a day of hiking or exploring. A dedicated dining area invites you to enjoy meals together, play games, or just sit with a warm cup of coffee. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for your stay, while the private bathroom features a tub/shower combo.

The bedroom is arranged for flexibility and comfort, sleeping up to 6 with two queen beds and two twin beds — ideal for families or small groups.

Guest Access:

Guests staying at Cabin 1 enjoy full private access to the cabin, including the living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and bathroom. In addition to the indoor space, guests are welcome to explore the expansive private ranch grounds.



During your stay, you’ll have access to:

Parking is available near the cabin in designated areas. Guests are asked to respect other areas of the ranch that may be occupied by other groups or staff, but you’ll have more than enough space to explore, unwind, and enjoy the tranquil ranch lifestyle.



The Neighborhood:

Cabin 1 is tucked within the scenic 40+ acre Scimitar Ridge Ranch, a private hillside estate just outside Anacortes, WA. Reaching the cabin is part of the experience—a beautiful one-mile drive up through the ranch on a mostly paved road, surrounded by forest, ponds, and meadows.



Though quiet and secluded, the ranch is ideally located near some of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic destinations:

🥾 Whistle Lake trail access – 15-minute walk from your cabin

🌉 Deception Pass State Park – 7 miles

🏔️ Mount Erie Viewpoint – 7 miles

🚢 Anacortes Ferry Terminal – 10 miles



You’ll enjoy the peace and privacy of ranch life while being just minutes from beaches, hiking trails, and the charming shops and restaurants of downtown Anacortes. Whether you're heading out for adventure or staying in to relax, this location offers the best of both worlds.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is recommended for your stay at Scimitar Ridge Ranch. The cabin is located about a mile up a mostly paved private ranch road, accessible year-round. Ample parking is available near the cabin in designated areas.

While the ranch feels secluded, it’s just a short drive to downtown Anacortes, local trailheads, beaches, and scenic viewpoints. Popular nearby destinations like Deception Pass, Mount Erie, and the Anacortes Ferry Terminal are all within 10 miles.



Other Things to Note:

◆ Starter supplies (toiletries, paper goods, dish soap, etc.) are provided, but we recommend bringing extras for longer stays.

◆ Linens and towels are provided, but for added comfort, you may wish to bring your favorite pillow, blanket, or extra towels—especially if you plan to visit Whistle Lake.

◆ No pets, smoking are allowed on the ranch property.

◆ Quiet hours are expected and enforced after 10 PM out of respect for other guests and the peaceful environment.

◆ Please stay within the areas reserved for your group and do not enter other buildings or staff areas.

◆ Cell reception may be spotty in some areas, but Wi-Fi is available in the cabin.

◆ Ranch roads are one-lane and have limited visibility in spots. Please drive slowly (max 10 MPH) and watch for wildlife, staff, and other guests.

◆ The building has other facilities and rooms that may be used by other guests of staff members.

◆ Laundry Service Available: During weekdays (Mon–Fri), we offer optional laundry service for $50 per 13-gallon bag (wash & dry). To request, contact host upon arrival to arrange.
