We really enjoyed our stay. The shuttle to the ferry was great. We felt 21€ was a lot for breakfast per person. But other than that we highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed eight nights at NH noord hotel, the beds were comfortable and breakfast were ok. Improvement areas could focus on the customer service of staff, key card problem, and room cleanliness. The staff were not welcoming at front desk, this is the first inpression to all guests; the room cleaning was bad, no one sweep the floor and no one clean the clogged drainage during the period. Key card was a nightmare coz it went out of order everyday so you have to go to the front desk to make it works again.

Good hotel a bit out of the city centre but a free shuttle bus is a nice touch. Couple of small points wood chip wallpaper needs removing to look more modern, and a nice picture on wall would be a nice touch, no fan in shower, could do with one, and we did get bitten by mosquitoes in room which was a shame, if you stay take some cream.

Great base for Impro Amsterdam

A really excellent base to visit the Impro festival, just a short bus ride from all the venues and the same to get back into the centre of town. I had a lovely big room overlooking the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very quiet which led to a very peaceful stay.

Excellent hotel. Really comfy and clean and big enough as I was travelling with my 2 teenage sons. Nice part of dam too. Close enough and easy enough to get into town, but far out enough for it to be really peaceful. We had a great view of the boats from our room too. Staff super friendly. I never give 10/10 reviews. This is my first.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The place is very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. I was experiencing a severe headache during my stay, and they consistently checked in to ensure I was okay. Their care and kindness made me feel truly valued. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

The free shuttle service is the deal breaker, if you do not want to be in the middle of it all then this hotel is perfectly located, a 5 minute shuttle ride to the free ferry getting you to central station in 10 minutes.

False Advertisements All Around

Don’t book this hotel if youre going to rely on the shuttle service. They advertised on their website that the shuttle picks up/drops off at Central Station and runs continuously. Upon arrival, we were told we had to take the ferry across the river and also call to request the driver. The driver took over 15 minutes usually to come, even though the hotel is a 6 minute drive away from the pick up point. This slowness caused us to miss our train to Germany on our last day in Amsterdam. The hotel also advertises 24/7 room service and this is also false. When we attempted to order room service, we were told the kitchen was closed. The rooms were comfortable but we will not stay here again due to the false advertisement.

Hotel relatively newer compared to other hotels in the city center. Overpriced breakfast, but supermarket nearby. You have to take a ferry to get here. They have a shuttle from the dock to the hotel, very convenient. Not much happening in Amsterdam Noord, so frequently needed to take shuttle.
