Deze recent volledig gerenoveerde Villa ('19/'20) aan het water gelegen onder de rook van Amsterdam in het mooie idyllische Abcoude. 6 personen (4 slaapkamers) 2 badkamers, buitenhuis, wifi, jacuzzi, BBQ, SUPS, PlayStation, fitness, alles aanwezig voor een heerlijk verblijf in NL en volledig uitgerust om o.a. familie en vrienden te ontvangen.
Het familiehuis is ideaal voor een gezin met kinderen: grote tuin om te spelen en toegang tot het Abcoudermeer via een klein ophaalbruggetje waarna je direct kan zwemmen of suppen. Fietsen aanwezig om de omgeving verder te verkennen. Grote Supermarkt op circa 200 meter + alle overige winkels (slagers/bakkers/groenteboer/HEMA etc.) aanwezig in het dorp. Laadpaal voor een elektrische auto aanwezig.
Treinstation op circa 1 km met rechtstreekse verbinding naar Amsterdam centrum, Utrecht en Rotterdam! Busstation op 200 meter, Schiphol op circa 20 minuten rijden.

Soothing and Charming House that felt like Home

We were looking for a house where three generations of our family could come together while we were visiting family in Europe. The warm and welcoming house in Abcoude was a perfect retreat for us in every way. It is a real family home with a great atmosphere that is personal enough to feel like home and balanced enough so that you don't think that you would be intruding into someone else's house. The house is very tastefully, beautifully furnished, and decorated without being overly posh or intimidating, I am an architect and designer, and I would not decorate or furnish my own house much different than this. My whole family, parents, and children felt at home immediately. We enjoyed the house so much that we actually spent much more time in the house than we thought we would when we initially booked it. The house is big enough to allow for privacy within a large group and the vast ground floor layout allowed for different zones of activity (for example: playing, watching a movie, and having conversations at the dinner table) all at the same time. The house is actually even more beautiful than the photos would suggest. The windows allowed for excellent cross ventilation during the 2022 summer heat wave, and the thermal mass of the brick walls made the house very comfortable in the hot weather we experienced. The three floors allowed for privacy and for everyone to find a perfect room to stay; beds and linens were of high quality and very comfortable. The garden was in full bloom and was gorgeous, with many different entertaining areas (dinner table, outdoor lounge area, garden shed with fireplace) that gave us ample space to spread and enjoy the natural setting. The house had so many features we didn't use them all. The lake right next to the house and the beautiful little town of Abcoude allow for nearby activities on foot or by bike. Abcoude's central location near Amsterdam is perfect for day trips to the city or sea. Amsterdam's international airport Schiphol is only 25min away, which makes it an excellent location for international travelers. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay a success. We had such a wonderful time; I am sure we will cherish our experience for many years, coming together as a family in this charming home. We hope we will be able to book this house again sometime. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
