As for the first night, I stayed in a mixed room and I didn't feel comfortable there for some reason and one of my friends joined my stay in Amsterdam so I asked to change my room to private room. The staffs changed it for me very kindly. The room itself is simple with a bed and shower. The fee I paid was almost the same with hotels such as ibis, however it was a little shame that it didn't have tv nor fridge. Additionally, the room was pretty close to the lounge where you enjoy music so whenever someone opened the door between the lounge and the area of rooms, it made big sounds, which woke both me and my friend up all the time and it was quite annoying. Also the wall is so thin so that you clearly can hear someone walking or chatting in hallway. If you're thinking to stay this hostel and a private room, I highly recommend you to ask them if you can stay far from the lounge. Although the location and staffs were good and friendly.
