Not your typical b&b. There is a small fridge in the room stocked with a variety of fruits, vegetables, yogurt, juices, sandwiches and yes, even beer. The king bed is quite comfortable, good lighting and satellite tv. The room is a good size with a balcony that overlooks an uninteresting courtyard. The bathroom is modern and very functional. There is also a microwave available. Jasper, the owner, does a great job keeping the place clean and well stocked. Because the stairway to the 3rd floor is narrow and steep (which is typical in European homes), he helped bring up the suitcases. I cannot stress enough how helpful Jasper is with any details. The one caution I would point out is you need to be reasonably fit to navigate the 3rd floor. The location is ideal and close to restaurants, metro and tram (great way to travel) and quiet. Not ideal if you have a car. Overall, highly recommended.

We found boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, sandwiches on buns, fruit juice boxes, ect in the refrigerator, which was restocked daily! The owner carried all 4 of our suitcases, 2 large and 2 carry ons, up to our 3rd floor room for us! The steps are narrow so hold onto the railings (they are on both sides for you!) The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the little "patio"! It was close to a subway entrance too! The host was helpful if directions were needed!

The host was friendly and attentive. The food and drink in the room was much appreciated. My only gripe was that the carpeting is very dirty. The property is in dire need of recarpeting or vinyl flooring. It made the room uncomfortable. The AC works well and the neighborhood is great. A couple notes. The bed is soft. For those that prefer firm beds, that could be an issue. But it is comfortable. And the rooms are up some very steep stairs, which could be a problem for those with accessibility issues.
