2. Casa Rural as Bentinas

Ames

"The place is way beyond our expectations. It truly has notable character and somewhere I would prefer to “gate-keep” from others by not leaving a review to tell others about how much we enjoyed it. However, I had to leave a review because Susana and the staff at this property were above and beyond. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained, plus it is very original and has great uniqueness. The area is peaceful and quiet, and promotes a great experience just outside of Santiago. "This is a really beautiful place! You feel like you're in the country and yet only about 15 minutes or so drive to Santiago de Compostela. But the best part was how gracious, friendly, and helpful our hosts, Julia and Julio were! Just a precaution if you have a mid to large size car, parking is really tight, but driving around the area, that seems to be the norm so definitely don't let that deter you from staying at this beautiful place!"

Top Ames Hotel Reviews

NH Collection Santiago de Compostela

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely hotel in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by gardens and a lake. A gem in the city, it is an easy walk to the cathedral without the noise and chaos that go along with typical city center vibe. I’m coming back after my Camino to rest here."

Eurostars Araguaney

10/10 Excellent

"I found this to be the best of the 3 Eurostars Hotels I stayed at during this visit to Spain ... reception staff Iago and his colleague were polite, professional and friendly ... my room was large, well appointed and comfortable and although old in style, it was very attractive, having been beautifully maintained and it was immaculately clean ... nice touches of sparkling wine in room upon arrival and chocolates on the pillow ... breakast choice was varied and of nice quality ... I would stay again and would confidently recommend this hotel 😃"

Hotel Praza Quintana

10/10 Excellent

"The room smelled like sewage possibly because it was in the basement, but other than this the room was immaculate and the shower was lovely. I wish the towel warmer worked. The staff were excellent, especilly Maria. She was very knowledgeable about Spain and Portugal since she used to be a flight attendant. We talked to her for a while."

Compostela Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I spent one night there and really enjoyed this hotel. It’s very close to everything. We drove there and parking was easy as well. We found parking close by and if you are from the states, we found one very easy to get to and not undercount. I do recommend to drop off luggage in front of hotel before parking."
