Really impressed. Lovely and clean. Everything you need including the little extras such as dishwasher tablets and hairdryer included. Felt cosy but still plenty of space for two and a dog. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views would love to come back in a different season Thank you so much!

A break in Beatrix Potter country
Loweswater cottage on the Esthwaite Howe section of the Graythwaite estate is a roomy, comfortable cottage, perfect for a couple, just a few minutes walk from Esthwaite water and about 5 minutes from an excellent village pub in Near Sawrey Cumbria. The cottage has a modern kitchen, comfortable furniture and bed, a spacious bathroom with mains water for the shower cubicle. Nearby, there is the picturesque village of Hawkshead, Coniston famous equally for its water and Old man, a recommended climb. Any visit to the area should include ‘Hilltop’ The home of Beatrix Potter, and a crossing to Bowness on Windermere on the car ferry from Far Sawrey.
