We booked this hotel for Brand and convenient location to the highway. During our trip, we attempted to reach the hotel 6 times to alert them of our extremely late arrival. All calls rang multiple times and went unanswered. After traveling for 9 hours, we arrived tired and sleepy. The front desk clerk was indifferent to our arrival, no greeting was offered and wrong directions to the room were given. Upon arrival to the room, we found some good points: 1. No bugs. 2. Clean sheets. 3. Shower & toilet were clean. 4. Morning coffee was good. 5. Microwave worked & was clean.
We found some things that needed attention: 1. Carpet was filthy with many stains and where the refrigerator was had not been cleaned or vacuumed. 2. Water stains on ceiling. 3. Top bed covering (can't call it a blanket) had green paint stains. 4. The room had NO toilet paper! So, tissue box was put to use. 5. At "4am" by clock on night stand, the picture hanging on the wall next to bed hit the floor waking all 3 of us. After 4.5 hours of sleep, we decided to get up & start our day. But we checked our phones & noticed the time was actually 3am, clock was ahead 1 hour.
The morning front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. We will not be staying at the Quality Inn again because Quality should not be the name. Corporate needs to look into this location.
