Great parking especially if you have a truck with a trailer. Greeted by an associate from my home town. What a surprise. Had a great evening with restaurants close by. Very quiet. I would recommend this hotel.

We stop through Amarillo about twice a year and we have stayed at so many different hotels in the area. After this last visit we decided this Hyatt Place is the only place we will stay from this point forward. It is so clean and roomy and my kids love the breakfast. It is TRULY the best property in the area and we have compared a LOT of them!

I only get to stay at a Hyatt Place once every two years and this location was everything the experience was desired to be. The helpful staff, clean space, unbelievable breakfast, spacious and modern room, top notch amenities…this location couldn’t do anything better than they already have. Incredible one night stay and wish I could have stayed longer. Well done guys. Two thumbs way up.

The drywall tape was coming off the ceiling and the bathroom had signs of water damage on the walls and the floor tile was cracked. Upon checking in they charged $150 for potential damage that you are supposed to get back if you don’t partake in breakfast (continental $8) and if you don’t damage the room. No microwave in room but there is one for use by the bar and they have a mini fridge in the room. It is near Cadillac ranch and shopping on the west side of town that appears to be growing and fairly new shopping centers. My visit was pleasant and the beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was spacious for a hotel. The morning staff were friendlier than the afternoon staff. They offer dinner from the bar but no one ever around to help you have to go to the front desk for assistance but I didn’t because the staff in the evening are not as friendly as the morning team and I can only imagine how the food would be after they hype up breakfast buffet style for a continental breakfast. The pool and gym are small so one family and you feel crowded. Overall it was a pleasant visit and for my needs I would stay again.
