「Halcyon House was one of the best places we've ever stayed through VRBO. Marilee has been responsive and helpful throughout the process.The location was perfect. It's an easy walk to the little city Amador, and a short drive to Sutter Creek. The house is clean, comfortable, and feels like a home without being fussy. We hope to be back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the back patio, but the front porch was lovely in afternoon sun.」

「A perfect "make a memory" getaway place. The farmhouse was cozy, well-stocked, and an easy walk to old town Jackson, where specialty shopping and history lessons abound! We appreciated the owner's detailed instructions for accessing the place because it is, indeed, an old neighborhood with tight parking. We also appreciated having a garage to park in.
