Boquete Panama Large 1/1 Apartment Quetzal 2 Fully Furnished Vacation Rental

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Quetzal Apartment 2 has plenty of space, with high vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. The bedroom is equipped with a king bed, walk in closet and views toward the Volcano. The fully equipped and spacious kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. The living room has a 43 inch TV with a streaming Fire TV Stick for you movies and other customizable programing. The large bathroom has plenty of space for two and hot water through out the apartment.

The Quetzal Apartments are located on Volcancito road, just 200 meters up from the visitors center and the entrance to Boquete. This residential neighborhood is quiet, yet conveniently located. The building is a duplex design with privacy and security for the two apartments. Each apartment has an out door patio space with table and chairs with off street parking. Local shuttle bus and taxis service the area on a regular basis, so it easy to get to town or the nearby grocery store.

A sorry outcome

The unit looks very nice, but I didn't get to find out. During the national protests in November/December, the roads were closed and it was not possible to drive to the western part of the country. I communicated in advance that I couldn't get there, but no refund, even a partial refund was forthcoming. My reservation was for 15 days, so it was enough to make a point of it. Many people lost out in the protests and some businesses closed. There could have been some compromise here.
