Torfhaus HARZRESORT

Clausthal-Zellerfeld

10/10 Excellent

This is my 16th trip to Germany. The Torfhaus Resort rates as one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The location is perfect for hiking, biking, sightseeing or just relaxing. It is in the forest, but close to Altenau, Braunlage and other larger communities. The cottages are in excellent shape with the most modern appliances. Staff is very professional and always on duty. We also used the fitness room and were pleased with the up-to-date equipment. Most important---my wife...

Goslar Old Town

10/10 Excellent

The hotel has the best location given that is is right on the Markplatz. Easy walk to explore the town. Added bonus is the parking onsite for 10 Euros a day. The room was bigger than I needed it to be, since it was over two stories. But it was very clean and pretty modern. Very comfortable bedding. Be aware that...
