Die Lage des Hotels ist günstig. Entfernung zur Altstadt nur ein kurzer Spaziergang. Wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang bei Zimmer mit Meerblick. Zimmer waren sauber aber die Regendusche im Bad war total verkalkt und es hingen Haare an der Dusche. Personal am Empfang als auch beim Frühstück nicht besonders freundlich. Zwei teilweise überlastete Kaffeautomaten beim Frühstück. Obwohl ich darauf hingewiesen hatte, das keine Tassen mehr vorhanden sind, dauerte es eine ganze Weile bevor neue Tassen gebracht wurden. Gleiches galt bei Hinweis auf leere Käseplatte. Service als auch Sauberkeit, definitiv keine 5 Sterne. Wir werden nicht nochmals da buchen.

The hotel is Ok , but I was expecting more from a 5 star hotel. The service was not 5 star as several times the first answer was always NO , until a second person from the staff heard what was happening and came “for the rescue”. The furniture needs renovation, the sofas in the rooms and lobby look really old , the bed covers look extremely old and have to be changed, they give a really first bad impression the first time you enter the room. The breakfast is Ok but no so special for a 5 star hotel. The location is not bad , 15-20 minutes walk to the historic center where most of the life is . There are no many hotel options in Alghero but this is no reason for a “5 star” hotel not to excel.

Property was very outdated. AC in the building was not cooling. They did not provide an iron, steamer or water. The bedding smelled like a combination of wet dog and mildew. the blanket was old, used and dusty. Very disappointing stay.

Location is quiet - just outside of the hustle and bustle of the town. Staff is “helpful” but the follow through is less to be desired. Asking for a taxi, they’ll call their shuttle service and will cost twice as much. Transport in general is crazy expensive. The pool is nice, especially on hot days.

Since my arrival, I’ve experienced consistent issues: poor airport transfer coordination, inadequate baggage assistance, a malfunctioning air conditioning system for 3 days that prevented me from sleeping, the whole hotel feels like a sauna, and an uncomfortably hard bed. Given these service failures at a FIVE-star hotel, is unacceptable. It’s a terrible, terrible hotel, it barely get a 2.5 stars not sure how they got a “5 star” hotel from. Asked for a refund and it’s been more than a day they haven’t responded yet. I’d defo stay away from this hotel.

The property itself has promise but fails to deliver. Positive: - The hotel property is nice. - Huge pool. - Spa area is terrific. - Nice beach and pool view from our room. - Our superior room was roomy and laid out nice. - We prefer adult only and only 1 child during our visit. - We liked the location - on the beach, good restaurants near, but less crowded than city center. Mixed: - massage. We each had a massage. His was very good, hers was not good at all. - gym: nice sized but old equipment Negative: - no hot water our entire stay. There was also no hot water in any of the spa showers. There are previous reviews mentioning the hot water problem, so it is a recurring issue. - employees ignoring the problem. The front desk didn’t seem even a tiny bit interested in addressing the problem- we brought it up every few hours. After 24 hours, they finally offered a room to shower in two floors down. (Why not just move us to a room that had hot water? Our guess is this is not an isolated problem and others needed a shower room.) - Our food at the hotel was terrible. Everything we ate seemed to be pre-made and low quality. The burger meat had a terrible taste. With that said, this one is easily avoided by eating elsewhere. - the beaches right at the hotel are not great, so you’ll likely want to drive to find better ones. Summary: the lack of hot shower and lsvk of employees who cared about the guest experience left us wishing we had stayed somewhere else.

For starters, the air-conditioning did not work in the entire hotel and they kept checking people in and making everybody miserable. They didn’t disclose it but they checked us in anyway. We had to fight hard and long to get our return. We had 11 Knight stay and it was over US$4500. There was also a mold in our room near the air conditioner vent and on the ceiling.. They moved this to another room, but after one night we retreated out of the hotel to check in somewhere else. The first night I actually slept in the car instead of the hotel. It was so miserably hot. And on top of it, Expedia was not very nice to us either, and I almost felt like they were in the sack with this Hotel wanting us to give up so they could keep the balance of our money. I’ve never had to fight so hard to get a refund from the hotel. They ended up even charging us one night to sleep in the heat or I slept in the car. My wife slept in the heat.

We arrived and were told there was a problem with an aircon, but will be sorted within a day. We came for 10 nights, after couple of days there was no communication from reception regarding the air con, was super hot, after few days we asked for a fun , were told they don’t have it. On the fourth day we got the gin, on the fifth day air con finally worked. There was a change of game, so much better,shame we lost half of our stay without air con. Breakfast was every day the same ,literally no changes, hot food were tasteless . One day we asked chef to cook to order poached eggs , they were awful :(breakfast finishing at 10a.m, on the dot they clean everything so be aware, even we came once 9:45 and there was not much left, as they haven’t refilled anything .Staff not too friendly ( apart of the cleaners as they were super nice) bar staff ignoring guests , I did wait 10 min ,and there were like four bar staff ,one other guest ,and no one even acknowledge me, like I was not there. Loads don’t speak English , so difficult to communicate also .Disappointed and would not go back there , as lack of friendliness ,communication,helpfulness and not flexibility with guests being on holidays .
