We enjoyed our stay at this spacious apartment but it does require some maintenance/updating. We discussed this with the Property Management Company who was very receptive toward us. During our stay, there were a couple of issues requiring immediate action, and they were dealt with to our satisfaction in a very timely manner. The apartment is well equipped with dishes, pots/pans, cutlery but it does not have any consumables. This was unlike other VRBOs we have rented. We enjoy walking but it should be noted there is a staircase with many (129) steps to get to and from town. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe. Tavira is a lovely town in the Algarve that shouldn’t be missed!

This place is beautiful, great space, lovely linens , firm, good quality mattress, new dishes/pots and pans, towel warmers, good washer too! The pool area is excellent. Very quiet and well maintained outdoor spaces. The Happy Homes people were great to work with. Yes, there are stairs to get to town but you can also drive for 5 minutes and be in the main squares. Lots of parking! There is a fitness gym below the property-we didn’t look into day passes but that might be possible. The patios were perfect for lovely meals outside.

Well located. Safe neighborhood. Good size apartment. Nice grounds. All basic needs provided. The apartment could use a little refurbishing, issue with the electric window shutter , bathroom toilets need updating…but mostly suited our needs. Didn’t use the pool, but looked impeccably clean. Very quiet this time of year.

Well appointed apartment but it needed some maintenance. The furniture was tired and worn. The grounds/pool were lovely. The walkways need work. Many loose tiles and trip hazards. Not a location for people with mobility issues. A ten minute walk to town center with alot of stairs. No convenient stores nearby.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung und mit funktionierenden Geräten in der Küche. Zum Zentrum von Tavira 10-15 Minuten Weg. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Stadt oder mit dem Auto zum Supermarkt.

Property was nicely located near old town. Quiet and convenient, but to many stairs for someone with limited mobility. Lots of parking available which is a bonus in Tavira. All around a very pleasant stay.

This is our third time in this apartment complex and this unit was the nicest we've stayed in. It was clean, the furniture was modern and in good shape, the beds were comfortable. Internet reception was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped except it could use a larger frying pan. The one they currently have is tiny. There were some burned out light bulbs in the bathrooms and the entryway and the freezer door wouldn't close properly. We notified the property managers and I'm sure they'll take care of it before the next guests arrive. We'd definitely stay here again.

De foto’s doen vermoeden dat er een goed ingerichte keuken aanwezig is. Het beschikbare kookmateriaal is echter eerder magertjes. Voor de rest een heel mooi appartement, goede bedden en heel gerieflijke badkamers. Het c9ntact met het agentschap was zeker merr dan in orde. Heel behulpzaam, vriendelijk en correct.

The apartment was just as described & check in was easy. We were met by the rep who let us in & gave us the keys. The apartment was filled with light & was sociable. We thought the outside arears (patio at the front, courtyard in the middle & narrow balcony at the back) were small but perhaps that is because we had come from somewhere else with more outside space. There was a beach umbrella & cool box etc which were available for our use. This was great on the day that we took the ferry to the island. We all liked the town of Tavira & really liked the proximity of the apartment to the town. There are 120 steps down & within about 20 minutes you can be in the town with its shops & restaurants. This made a nice change when compared to the location of the property on the 1st part of our holiday. We had a good time - thank you

We could not have been happier with our accommodations here. The unit was comfortable and met our space needs. We enjoyed the interior, open-air space and the exterior patio. The green space and pool added to our enjoyment. We are fortunate to be fit enough in our late-60s to negotiate the stairs that must be traversed to walk to town, but others might find it a challenge. The hosts went out of their way to help us settle in with ease.

We enjoyed our stay in this ideal area of Tavira. We walked to town almost every day. All that you need is in walking distance, to us anyway, because we love to walk. The accommodation was clean and as it appeared in the website. We did have to buy toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels and soap for the clothes which we usually had in other VRBO accommodations. We would recommend this condo. It was quiet and we also enjoyed sitting outside to have tapas and wine in the evening. 😎Enjoy!
