"EXCELLENT hotel!! Very clean, comfortable rooms w/mini refrigerator and great air conditioning! Praia Dona Ana (a beautiful beach) is right below. There are restrooms, life guards, beach chairs and umbrella rentals, and a nice restaurant serving reasonably priced food and drinks there. Several steps to the beach but doable. Cash only at the beach. There is an ATM for euros next to the hotel. The hotel has a nice restaurant w/an amazing view of the ocean. It is a bit pricey for lunch & dinner. The same restaurant serves a free, delicious buffet breakfast to guests (I believe it's 15 euros for non guests). There is a quiet rooftop bar w/a simple food menu (pizza, bugers, etc.), and a few steps up is a refreshing swimming pool. There's a little store next to the hotel selling snacks, water, drinks, beach accessories, etc. Also, across the parking lot is a great walking trail w/beautiful views. The staff was friendly & helpful. The maintenance crew kept the hotel clean. The hallways alway had a fresh/clean smell. There ARE elevators. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel and would definitely return if we headed back to Lagos. Tips: Get an International cell phone ad-on & load Uber onto your phone as taxis are not readily available, and Uber was extremely reliable and inexpensive. The town of Lagos is probably a 20 minute walk but a tough walk w/all the hills. A quick Uber, no matter your age, is recommended as you'll do a lot of walking in town and along the marina. Wonderful hotel!!"

"There were many great things about the property. It is beautiful - pools are lovely, walk to the beach is reasonable, it's an easy taxi, or doable walk, to town. Rooms are spacious & clean. Bathrooms are very nice and views from rooftop balcony were amazing - saw a great sunset. It was fun to have the bar/cafe by the pool (delicious smoothies!). The staff was generally kind and helpful when they could be. There were some challenges with our stay which is why I can't give it 5 stars. 1. At checkin, they said they would notify us when the place was ready. But eventually we checked again, & it was ready, they had forgotten to tell us. 2. As soon as we got into room, some extremely loud construction sounds started - we could not hear each other it was so loud. When I first asked when it would end, they told me there was no construction on site, and that they could not control outside noise. It was much back and forth before someone investigated. To the good, after checking they immediately changed our room, and it was an even nicer room. They were very kind about it. 3. Ants. So many ants. They sprayed, but they kept coming back. 4. The washing machine didn't work. Someone came a couple of hours after we asked,, and fixed the fuse. 5. After they fixed it, we no longer had ANY hot water. We asked, someone came, he said he would send someone else, but never did. It was cold showers the rest of the visit. Overall, a beautiful property, but some kinks to work out."

"The location is super convenient, clean and spacious. The rooftop pool and the saunas were a great amenity. The breakfast buffet was solid and had something for everyone. The gym was decent sized. The staff were super friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was significantly nicer than I expected based on the reviews. It was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The only qualm was the old wooden boards around the pool that were a tripping hazard. There are also a lot of stairs all around the property, if you need ADA accessibility definitely mention that when you book because not all of the areas are accessible due to stairs. They are super strict on the 3pm check-in. The breakfast buffet was solid but nothing special."
