Amazing Sunsets and Lake Quality

  • Completely remodeled lake home in June 2021 with many of the amenities and conveniences you expect to make your vacation truly enjoyable. And now this winter 2026 we are adding a 4th large bedroom that will have a King size bed.

    Expect a very furnished kitchen with every utensil possible and quality appliances. Large dock with solar boat lift.

    Incredible lake views and sunsets with 5 sleeping areas (3 private bedrooms plus 2 open areas). About 2,150 finished SF.

    There is enough parking (2 concrete driveways for up to 9 cars) and also room for an RV complete with a 30AMP exterior outlet. Boating dock fits up to 2 or 3 regular 20' boats. 1 solar boat lift for a up to 20ft boat without upper racks. Very private lot with 200 feet of lake shore.

    IMPORTANT SEASONAL INFORMATION

    Please be aware that the dock, boat lift, kayaks, and Lily Pad are seasonal amenities and are not available after September 30.
    Due to Minnesota's seasonal weather conditions and the possibility of freezing temperatures, these amenities are removed from the lake in the fall.
    Guests booking stays after September 30 should not expect the dock, boat lift, kayaks, or Lily Pad to be available during their stay.

Beautiful home with lots of beds and outdoor seating. We had a wonderful girls weekend! Didn't realize how close the home was to the road but there was enough room to park and traffic lessened in the evening.

Had our annual guys weekend here. Loved that everybody was able to have their own bed. Lake views were incredible. The only downsides we ran into was having enough parking we had three boats and everybody coming from different destinations so it made for some tricky parking, then there was no yard space to play yard games. Other than that had a fantastic weekend!

Girls' weekend getaway

The property is beautiful, only pleasant surprises...kitchen had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable. We've stayed in many homes, this was the cleanest and most organized. Sunsets were amazing, made sure we got back in time to view them.

Always a 5-star rating from us!

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this property - twice with family and once with friends. The cleanliness of the house and beauty of the lake always make it a memorable stay. And the host, Francisco, is top-notch! I highly recommend staying at “Sunsets at Lake Ida.”

High quality furnishings with a gorgeous view of the lake. Several hideaway beds were used and were very comfortable. Quick response to any texts. I absolutely would go there again

Sunset Stay

We had a wonderful girls weekend away. The home is beautiful, clean and just as pictured. It’s hard to beat the views from every window along the back of the home. The house is very well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We all said we would return for another girls weekend or bring our families to enjoy this property.

Fantastic!

We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing stay. The house was fully equiped with everything we needed. Plenty of family friendly games along with a pingpong table! Our entire family from 8yrs-49yrs old had a wonderful time!! Will definently be staying again!!

Family Lake Vacation

Beautiful home on Lake Ida! Loved the views, the outdoor spaces, and easy lake access. Had everything we needed for a week long family summer vacation! Our kids enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. They also loved having use of the lily pad and kayaks to enjoy the lake! Water was so clear and clean! So many great spots to sit and read a book, enjoy coffee on the deck, and watch the sunsets.

Women’s Weekend

Beautiful house, lots of outdoor seating areas with a lake view. We enjoyed the fire pit with the complimentary wood bundle. Our group consisted of 8 women over 60, and we found the proximity to Carlos Creek Winery perfect for our plans. We slept two in each room and one on each of the two pullout sofa beds.

Sisters trip

Us seven sisters thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! Plenty of room for all of us, and the lake and fall colors were a welcome bonus. Everything in this home appears brand new and very nicely decorated! Francisco was very responsive and helpful! Thank you!
