Amazing Sunsets and Lake Quality

Completely remodeled lake home in 2021 with many of the amenities and conveniences you expect to make your vacation truly enjoyable. And now this winter 2026 we are adding a 4th large bedroom that will have a King size bed.

Expect a very furnished kitchen with every utensil possible and quality appliances. Large dock with solar boat lift.

Incredible lake views and sunsets with 5 sleeping areas (3 private bedrooms plus 2 open areas). About 2,150 finished SF.

There is enough parking (2 concrete driveways for up to 9 cars) and also room for an RV complete with a 30AMP exterior outlet. Boating dock fits up to 2 or 3 regular 20' boats. 1 solar boat lift for a up to 20ft boat without upper racks. Very private lot with 200 feet of lake shore. Dock, boat lift, kayacs and lilipad available from mid June to mid September.

Sunset Stay

We had a wonderful girls weekend away. The home is beautiful, clean and just as pictured. It’s hard to beat the views from every window along the back of the home. The house is very well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We all said we would return for another girls weekend or bring our families to enjoy this property.

Girls' weekend getaway

The property is beautiful, only pleasant surprises...kitchen had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable. We've stayed in many homes, this was the cleanest and most organized. Sunsets were amazing, made sure we got back in time to view them.

Recent Renovation

While the weather was not cooperative this year, the property continues to be in excellent condition. A master bedroom and large bath on the main floor compliment two bedrooms and one bath on the lower level. The home has recently been renovated/updated. The kitchen is well appointed. Activities are abundant.

Family Lake Vacation

Beautiful home on Lake Ida! Loved the views, the outdoor spaces, and easy lake access. Had everything we needed for a week long family summer vacation! Our kids enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. They also loved having use of the lily pad and kayaks to enjoy the lake! Water was so clear and clean! So many great spots to sit and read a book, enjoy coffee on the deck, and watch the sunsets.

Women’s Weekend

Beautiful house, lots of outdoor seating areas with a lake view. We enjoyed the fire pit with the complimentary wood bundle. Our group consisted of 8 women over 60, and we found the proximity to Carlos Creek Winery perfect for our plans. We slept two in each room and one on each of the two pullout sofa beds.

Picture perfect

Sunsets on Lake Ida are truly unforgettable and this lakehouse has ideal views westward across the lake. We had both good and bad weather during our stay but the inside, outside, and lakeside of this property could not have been better. Everything was top notch in terms of quality, comfort, and made for frankly luxurious relaxation. Property owner was very communicative, helpful, and conscientious.

Beautiful Property, amazing experience

I can’t begin to express how many “wow’s” came out of our mouth as we explored the house. So clean and cozy. It was a perfect place to spend our anniversary. We really enjoyed checking out Alexandria and coming back tired, we hung out near the fireplace and watched tv. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We would definitely come back during the summer time to enjoy the lake. Ultimately a very relaxing weekend and would recommend to anyone interested in the highest quality of getaways! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Idyllic Girls Weekend

Francisco's cabin on Lake Idea was perfect for a girls weekend for our group of women in their 30s. Gorgeous views for AM coffee and PM wine, comfy beds, modern furnishings and decor, and every need is thought of — we were impressed the kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook a couple of meals. Francisco had great communication throughout. We will definitely be returning!

Memory-making Weekend!

I invited 5 of my high school classmates to join me at this stunning property. This is the second time I have stayed at this property. It’s a completely updated home with many amenities and so CLEAN! While the weather was rainy and chilly, my friends and I shared laughter and many memories around the fireplace. The location is just a few minutes from Carlos State Park, Carlos Creek Winery and great shopping in Alexandria! I will be back next year with my family. Also, Francisco, the host, was very responsive and kind!
