"Lovely, quiet location in a rustic cottage. Great for families. Bathing in the lake was wonderful in the heat. Those who didn’t want to bathe could sit in the shade of the surrounding trees. "

"The hosts, Maria and Victor were awesome! At our request, Maria had the kindness to cook for us 3 of the 4 days we stayed at their beautiful place. She’s an amazing cook! We enjoyed the best meals at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a countryside experience in Portugal. They also have a beautiful pool and pool area. .everything was amazing!"

"This was a magical stay. One of the closest homes to the castle. This unit had the most comfortable beds. Outdoor space is plenty with amazing views. Parking is attached and included, made unloading so easy. We felt like the only visitors, but had a few dining options. Definitely try the tapas place right next door and the Ginjinha bar was great for desert and drinks. My family can’t say enough good things about this stay."

"Nous avons quitté les lieux plus tôt que prévu. La literie est catastrophique !!! Deux nuits ont suffit a nous casser le dos. Le logement n’est pas du tout adapté aux enfants, il manque cruellement de luminosité est très isolé de la civilisation. La cuisines n’est pas fonctionnelle ( pas d’eau chaud à l’évier, le peu d’ustensiles se délabre dans nos mains. La piscine se trouve dans le jardin des parents du propriétaire, donc il faut passer par un chemin de broussailles pour si rendre et une fois...

"A maneira como nos trataram é um escândalo. 8 pessoas alugam uma casa no meio Portugal, fazem uma viagem de carro durante 2horas, com os carros cheios de comida, bebida, gelo e roupas para passar 3 noites e somos completamente deixados ao abandono pela VRBO. Mandaram-nos arranjar um hotel às 10 da noite para 8 pessoas e deram-nos um budget ridículo para encontrar casa à última da hora para passar as seguintes duas noites. Ganhem vergonha! Queremos o reembolso e indemnização por todos os danos...

"Good stay. Host attentive. No washer as advertised, we had everything else we needed. The 5th room is accessed on outside. There is a fish pond right outside with frogs that croaked all night. This friend recommends draining pond to get rid of loud croaking frogs, or have a sound machine with white noise. We had a loaf of bread delivered each day, very nice. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate this host!!"

"We chose this hotel as unlike most, it had a pool - infact 2, 1 inside and 1 outside. We had a great room - large with seating area and a view of both the pool and the castle. Superking bed which was very comfortable. Disapponted no iron available. It is, by comparison to others in Tomar, a large hotel and whilst its used by coach tours its quiet whilst being in easy walking distance of the beautiful town and its attractions. There's a good choice at breakfast although the coffee machines take ages. The hotel don't seem to promote the restaurant for evening meal so we didn't try it. Would stay again "

"After not such so good start when management did not return my message requesting check in instructions, I managed to contact a helpful young man who met me at the premises and showed me our room. We stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony. The property has been beautifully renovated and our room was modern and stylish with a lovely comfortable bed. The balcony was beautifully traditional, with gorgeous views looking over the roof tops towards the Praca and the Convento de Cristo which was illuminated after dark. We would definitely stay here again if in the vicinity."

"Clean room but in need of better lighting to read by when in bed Instructions needed on how to use the remote control for the tv More hangers required in the wardrobe Air conditioning was great Nice breakfast Unfortunately it was very noisy on Friday night due to a music festival maybe you should consider supplying ear plugs to your guests on these occasions "
