As others have said, property very clean, they seem to keep their staff. Surprising to pay for wifi and the safe, as its normally free. Bit surprised one morning to see people putting towels out to bag the beds, as there were abundance of them! Take or buy your own dishclothes etc, no scissors in room.

I have traveled to numerous places and stayed in countless hotels. However, this particular hotel proved to be the worst experience I've ever had. To start, the room had a strong odor, and the furniture was notably aged. I booked a one bedroom apartment for 4 people, which included two sofa beds, and my daughters both complained of discomfort and back pain after the first night's sleep. The hotel's 4-star ranking puzzled me, especially when there was no shampoo provided in our bathroom. Astonishingly, the front desk's response was to suggest purchasing shampoo from a nearby grocery store. In all my 30 years of travelling to more than 22 countries, I have never come across a hotel, even one with a 2-star rating, that didn't offer complimentary shampoo to guests, let alone instructed them to buy their own. Furthermore, the absence of beach/pool towels was another disappointment, with the hotel's solution being to purchase them elsewhere. Remarkably, the room contained a safety box, but obtaining a key for it came at an additional cost. Even basic amenities like teabags, coffee, and bottled water were lacking in the room. The overall condition of the hotel room, including stained towels, left me feeling disgusted. Despite the steep price of over $500 per night, I couldn't even consider this hotel worthy of a 1-star rating. Fortunately, our reservation was limited to just two nights, after which we relocated to another hotel near Pine Cliffs for the third night.

Stayed with a friend in the pool view apartment and it was absolutely brilliant. Hotel is in an excellent location to walk to both old town and new town. Close to supermarket and other amenities. The apartment was a great size and very comfortable. The facilities at the hotel were superb. Couldn't fault it at all!

Hotel very nice only comment I would make is that I never realised you had to pay extra for the gym and spa. It’s only 3 euros per person per day and well worth it but I wasn’t aware of this charge before arriving at hotel. Definitely wouldn’t stop me going again.

It's fine. If you're looking for a no frills, simple place to stay, this is it. Although it has a big pool, gym and other amenities, it's DEFINITELY not what I would consider a 4 star hotel. I would rate more as a 2 or 3 star max. But it was still "nice". Staff were friendly. Bad side was the room. It was small, outdated with a very strange design to it. It needs a refresh overall.

Hotel staff were excellent. The rooms could do with updating but very clean and comfortable. All in all very quiet apart from one afternoon where there was some major work in the apartment above me. The metal chairs on balconies are very uncomfortable to sit on too. Hotel central for most things - walked to old town daily, plenty of restaurants nearby and also took a taxi to Vilamoura (€25).
