Great house!!! So much space! The home was super stocked (all new pots, dishes, glassware & silverware). Everything was very clean and Colleen, the host, was absolutely amazing!! She went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable. There was plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. My whole family had a great time. I would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

It is a beautiful house. The kitchen needs more baking items. We were glad that the property manager got us plates and silverware because there wasn't enough for 1 meal. The hot tub needed more water in it. The property manager said she would get us a hose on Monday but it never showed up. So no hot tub. A few maintenance items but it was a very enjoyable time.

I had a great overall experience, but I wish we could have more than four cars on the property. I wouldn't mind paying an extra fee for additional parking, especially since I had guests coming from Canada, Buffalo, New York, and Delaware. Coordinating with just four cars was challenging.I would rate this place four stars, but there are a few issues to address. Firstly, the parking situation could be improved. Additionally, the grill was used but not cleaned, which was disappointing. I also noticed a broken gray chair near the entrance that could pose a safety risk, as it was separated from the other chairs overlooking the balcony. Lastly, the listing mentioned that two rooms had bunk beds, but upon arrival, I found that only one room had a bunk bed, which felt like false advertising.

The home was pretty clean, nicely furnished, and spacious. However, it was bare bones. Also, we had communication issues with the property manager.The property manager was difficult and rude to communicate with. Prior to check in, there was confusion about registration forms we needed to fill out. She was very rude to me during that exchange, even though I kept explaining that I was just confused and trying to solve the problem. During our stay, we realized the grill was not working after buying groceries for grilling. We called and she was very rude, saying that we should've just lit it with a match and "what did we want her to do". Our issues with the house were as follows:- No central A/C. There were window units but those were not sufficient to cool all the main areas. One of the bedrooms did not have a window unit. - The ice maker was hardly making any ice- Kitchen not stocked with any basic food staples such as salt or aluminum foil. No cleaner other than dish soap. No baking pan, not enough cutlery for guests, only 1 dish towel, etc - No beach towels, sand toys, chairs, basketball, etc- Only 2 games, neither with any instructions - Only 10 bath towels, for a home that sleeps 12 - You have to put the trash in your trunk and take it to the dumpster. - HOA amenities - No basketball or tennis. Boats are for rental only.

Overall a nice house in the mountains. Ample room in the home for 9-12 guests. Our stay was very short; Friday night and left 10am Sunday. Check-in was easy but the HOA fee was difficult. I tried to email/call several times about the fees. There was no information about the wrist bands and car tags. Found out the last day we needed a yellow car tag for taking out trash. Home was decently clean but don't walk around the home in white socks. There are also very large ants (maybe carpenter) in the kitchen so be sure the seal any food on the counters.

We have to stay at this place again

the house was absolutely beautiful! everything was super clean and comfortable. would definitely recommend this house to everyone that’s looking to find a peaceful getaway. we had a large group and there was still extra space. the host was the sweetest most flexible point of contact and super helpful too! great location with some even greater views. we definitely plan on renting out this house again. expectations were exceeded.

Disappointed

I had a group of women friends that wanted a holiday getaway in the Poconos so picked this rental since there were 10 of us. Upon arrival, we were greeted with trash that was strewn about at the entrance. It was cold and snowy so we all looked forward to a warm fire at the fireplace but it didn’t work. We then found the dishwasher didn’t work either and also had a problem with toilets not flushing. Gave up on dishwasher repair and was offered a quick fix on fireplace last night we were there. Not a good stay.

Beautiful home, questionable maintenance

The poor/fair: Communication with the location contact was sketchy. When we got there we went to move my 2 year old into the bunk room- tons of lady bugs and no vacuum to help clean them up. I reached out and although I didn't get a reply someone with a vacuum came and we didn't have any issues with the bugs from there. The first morning we went outside, we noticed trash from the previous guest had been rummaged by wildlife- reached out and got no response. About halfway through our stay the microwave stopped working. The contact said said he would be by, but no one ever came to check it while we were there. The showers drained slowly, but we didn't notice any abnormal smells. Water pressure upstairs was low, but downstairs seemed fine. The good/great: The home is large and comfortable. After the microwave broke, we moved to the toaster oven/tea pot and those worked just fine. The televisions are smart TVs and we had no issues finding entertainment for the whole family. We didn't get to enjoy the porch very much, but it was a nice sitting area. The downstairs game room was great fun for the whole family- toddler, parents and grandparents. We saw deer and turkey outside the back window almost every day. Location is great- eateries and playgrounds near by, but also secluded and private at the house. The beds were comfortable and cozy. If communication/maintenance of the house was better, this would be a 4/5 star review.

Take that home off your listing.

My stay was unsatisfactory. The home has all out dated appliances in the kitchen. The washing machine dosent work. The bathroom sinks dont drain. The water pressure is very low. The grill is old and rusty and very dirty. The gas tank for the grill was empty. Just two towels was given for sis people. The garbage was still infront the lower level bedroom door when we arrived. The lower level rooms has a dirty odor. The iron board was broken. Very upset and demand they need to refund my money i paid for one week stay.the management Keith did not respond to any of this issues. No bath room supplies. Even though Evolve told me the house will have. everthing we will need for our stay.

Annual Sibling trip

This place was great for our family trip. It has 3 floors along with 3 full baths. Game room was great for the kids. There were deer every morning and night. The location is great. Its right in the middle of all the attractions we did.

Spacious and in a great location

We had a great time touring Jim Thorpe and making memories back at the house. Plenty of space for kids and adults to relax and play. Fully stocked kitchen made it easy to make meals. Conveniently located; just 15 mins to Jim Thorpe and close to hiking trails & parks.
