Right or wrong, it goes without saying that vacation renters these days have become accustomed to certain baseline conveniences -- coffee grounds or beans among them.
We were welcomed with an AWESOME cherry pie, which we thoroughly enjoyed and was not expected. Yet while a welcome pie is a great touch, it didn't make up for some basics we found lacking, such as coffee. This was more of an issue b/c a snowstorm that blew in just after we arrived cut down the operating hours of nearby businesses making it harder to get coffee and other eat-in items.
The cabin itself is charming, the beds comfortable, and the location great. But there were huge temp differences between the bedrooms -- one with no heating -- and one only accessible via another bedroom. A nice stay overall, but not great.
