Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I’ll start by saying that Bolo Hills Beach Club may not be the cheapest beachfront option, but I would absolutely stay here again. For me, it came down to two things: the view and the hospitality. The beachfront setting is beautiful, but what really made the stay memorable was Greg, the owner, and his wonderful staff. They made everything feel personal without ever being intrusive. By the end of my stay, I realized that I will probably judge other boutique resorts by the standard they set here. Want a custom dinner on the beach beside a fire pit? Done. Need something that isn’t available at the resort? The staff will go into town and get it for you. Have a special request? They genuinely seem happy to figure out how to make it happen. Greg told me his goal is for every guest to leave with a smile. I can attest that I did. There are plenty of places where you can pay for a nice room and a beachfront view. What separates Bolo Hills Beach Club is the feeling that the people running it actually care whether you are enjoying your stay. I’m writing this review almost immediately after Expedia gave me the opportunity, which probably says more than anything else. Beautiful location, exceptional hospitality, and a place I would happily return to.
